All,
If anyone were interested in the post of Deputy Magistrate of Gothiel, let me know quickly, please. The Covenant is making appointments and I will nominate a candidate if there's reason to. In Starlight, Basil [ooc - these roles are to be the active LRP 'face of the law' for the cities, especially where the other city councillors are sometimes not active in LRP. So someone around a lot who is at least mildly pro-Imperial would probably be good.] |

((If no-one steps up I'll have to appoint someone from outside the faith, which may make it much harder to get off all the crimes we commit on Lee Dale dungeons! Stuart))

(OOC - not to sure on the mildly pro-imperial bit though :-) The magistrate is responsible for passing judgement in trials and overseeing the enforcement of the law. The deputy covers these duties when the magistrate is unavailable. Asta |

I am sure Mattie would be excellent.
Should she decide she does not want the post, I would be willing to take on the responsibility. I have, in the past, been a Special Inquisitor, as well as Stadtus of Sellaville. It would probably be more appropriate for a priest of the Lady of the Stars to take up the role, however. Ignatius |

As you may remember Eldias saying at one point in the past, when one does not have something good to say, one should refrain from speaking.
There are many jobs at which I think you would be exemplary. One involving the interpretation of the law does not strike me as belonging on the list. Ignatius |

I'll go stand with Owen for that one. I was sorta jokin. But then I thought it'd be kinda great. Ignatious would do a brilliant job though I think to be fair. Or Mattie. Bradley |

To be honest Bradley has brought a lot of swift justice in the past Ignatious. The problem as I see it is that every time somebody calls out "Magistrate" Bradley will be off at a run before he realises that it's him.
Mattie would be a great choice. She can then deputise all of us into the Watch! (So that when an evildoer is burning to death we can all do the "watch" thing.) Seriously though... Mattie would be great. Owen. (OOC - So then.... come overland season we get to do a section hunting down some bandits!? Tim.) |

Isn't Imperial Law just wrong, sheltering sinners and all that ?
I'll pray for Mattie and Ignatious (or is it like a clever plan or something ?) Light |

All,
Please don't forget that this is a DEPUTY Magistrate's post. Darig is Magistrate and Governor of Gothiel and the Covenant does not wish to change that fact. As for deputies in the Watch, please do contact me if you are interested in a life of 'Stick and Bell' Barak Watch Captain of Gothiel -------------------- You're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!
Characters Galdor - City Spirit of Alguz Florin - Crystalline Dwarven Seer Sola Vagus - Farfolk High Druid... with a bite. Baron Wyn Stoneheart - Blade Master Barak - Blue / Ivory Warlock plus 30+ years worth of other small yellow cards |
