The hour was late, and the sun long set when the two Dwarves, seemingly battered and battle weary, arrived in a somewhat spectacular fashion back in Forge Town to a thunderous boom of hooves and a loud goatlike bleating noise.

As the two entered the Cart Camp; Hammer word flew through the Dwarven grapevine like last orders at an all you can drink mead hall and before more than a few minutes had passed they were surrounded by a keenly listening set of Dwarves of the Ironblood Co-operative along with their apprentices, spouses and numerous children all hanging on the words of Corrie and Ironcore.

The tales told how they had retrieved the fabled weapon Foehammer and the key to the Forge Gate of Kazred Falls from a group of Ratfolk called the Tattered Tail. While they did battle with and bested a mighty Rat Ogre as they worked through their stronghold, they actually came away with a potential new ally in the grey furred Ratfolk Blissstich Blightpaw. To the surprise of their audience Corrie had spoken peaceably with them and struck a deal to prevent bloodshed and in doing so bound his words in a pact with the creature and they would likely be visiting and possibly drinking with the Earthsunder Clan within the next month.

The night grew late but no one wished to leave until the telling was all done and they learnt of the majestic sight of Kazred Falls, and why it was named such, spoke at length of the vast halls they had seen and how much more there was to both explore and liberate from the Spears of Slavik who claimed it as their own.

The biggest gasp of the night was reserved for their description of the Blessed Stone Keep of Sleep and their audience with the ghost of Thane Thorbren, the last King and Thane of Kazred Falls. There were wry smiles as they explained that while Foehammer was returned to the Thane they were guided by the spirits to not restore his rest as he and his spectral guards could still haunt their halls and lay waste to the unwary Ratfolk where their paths crossed. Everyone nodded at their sage choice, every Dwarf enjoys a good scrap and if you are going to wake up after an age of sleep you might as well enjoy as many scraps as you can before you rest again.

Throughout the telling they spoke fair and told of how there were assisted by the capricious Fey Astro, the strange fiery Hermit of Gnollskin Pass and the Angel guided Joshua, Priest not of the Soul Forger but St. Michael.

As the night ended they raised a toast to the Fey, Astro, whose essence expired in the Royal Chambers and it was agreed despite his past actions he had aided them greatly and given all he could to see them achieve success.

With the rising of the morning sun the masons of the Ironblooded headed out to begin work on a suitable place of memorial for the cheerful Astro so those that wished would have somewhere to go and pay their respects. A deal is a deal after all.
