My Warrior Priest recently reached 8th level and I have some points to spend on abilities. I've read through the handbook on post 8th- but I do not own Words from Above, as it was out of stock when i tried to buy it. Does anyone have any advice on what abilities might be most beneficial to an 8th level Warrior Priest of chaotic good alignment?

You're gonna want to buy more spirits so you can cast more miracles.

Hi, I'm Conor. My currently played characters are:

Bek, goblin assassin, 775 points.
Randall Lyghtwood, human Shaehan pure priest, 844 points.
Lord Zacharius Ward, noble human blue warlock, 545 points.
Kazan Junichi, crane clane kensai, 170 points.
Errin 'Twiglet' the wood elf awakener, 209 points.

More spirits is always good as are innate. I think the first extra level of spirits is 40 p's and innates are 10 points per spirit.

Are innates a once per day thing- or could I have an infinite spirit bolt at my disposal provided I have enough TBLP?

Innates are 1/day things.
You can get lots of them potentially depending on what you're getting.

But, I'd strongly suggest extra spirits.
After this, potentially get yourself some more armour and life, depending on how much you want to fight smile.gif

Innates are once per 10 points per day normally. They cost no tblp or spirit points to use but require the appropriate gesture and verbal. One thing to consider on table two (or three?) is devotion II, which limits you to one major sphere and limits your innate buying, but lets you buy lost of some innates at half cost.

On the other hand you could try for extra life, dac etc. and become a more combat-focused priest.

However i've never played a warrior priest but i have played a warrior and a priest separately, and obviously it's your character and your decision in the end.

I'd prefer spiritual power over physical power. I chose warrior priest because I thought I could defend myself if necessary but still wield a fair amount of spiritual power too. I'll keep in mind your advice, and general consensus is extra spirits is the way to go. I so far only have 95 points to spend- so I can't get too developed yet.
