I am thinking about making a Witchdoctor however I can't find anything in the handbook about tribes, could someone explain the basics of them for me?

normally your opposite alignment to the Shaman (if one exists) this determines the colour you can be, some races have different option
your mana is equal to the number of tribe members on the adventure x (your level x2) - Magical fetches post 8th is the power boost for witchdoctors
your 1st to 8th level Handbook spells are gained Via your totem not by teaching scrolls / learning
all other stuff is basically as Wizard

You can make up your own tribe and try and talk your mates into playing tribe members as well so you get more power. Or play one of the tribes from the alminac.
