Coming up on the 16th June we have a slightly different event for Laby and taking advantage of the new overland site we have.
The event consists of a normal overland followed by an evening IC feast, namely a BBQ around a camp fire with a few IC events going on tied to the dungeon that day. The event is taking place within some woods and fields in the grounds of Greathed Manor, close to Dormansland, in Surrey. The site consists of lots of woodlands, ponds, some old ruins and a field that we will have private use of. I have been and had a look around and it looks very promising for an overland. It also helps that the one house on site has a club member living in it! The aim is to start at 10.30am with the IC brief being to attend some tribal games and finishing up at about 10.30/11pm after the feast. There is space on site for people to set up tents and camp over, both Friday and Saturday night if they wish. People are allowed to drink alcohol during the evening, and there will probably be some spare tent space for those that want it. The cost of this event is £80, which includes the food being provided in the evening for the players and the monsters, and you can earn up to 200 points for the event. Camping is free for everyone. The event is already up on the event diary, and is set as a max 15k for the highs and an unbalanced 3k for the lows, but if people can let us know who they are playing we can adjust thresholds/statting accordingly. It is open to anyone tribal. To make the event run as well as hoped, we will of course need monsters and a-refs. The monster reward is 24 credits and 100 monster points, and 48 credits for a-reffing. Ideally we need monsters there all day and evening but let me know if only can do part of the event. A few other bits and pieces: The post code of the site is RH7 6NZ, but I will provide directions and parking instructions nearer the time. There is an outside butler sink and composting toilet we can use, there is also a static caravan we can use but will need to be kept clean and tidy. Food is likely to be standard BBQ fair, with burgers sausages, salad etc, let me know if you have any dietary requirements. If you are intending to camp over can you let me know so we are aware of numbers. -------------------- Rich

You should re-send it bookings@labyrinthe.co.uk as I suspect an internet ghoul has paralysed it Duncan |

Can I just confirm the price of this event?
At £80 being an O/L does that make it Minimum of £20 Cash and up to 60 Credits or are these different due to it being an Event. BBB -------------------- Grey's Law: Any sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice...
PS, Yes, I know my PM Box is full. Email me instead... (Which you can do through the forums email) |

This sounds like great fun... If I can find a way of slipping away from the scullery I will book on to monster...
Good luck everyone. If I do make it I will need to leave by Midnight otherwise I will turn into a pumpkin! -------------------- Cheers,

This is happening on Saturday, we are still in need of an a-ref and some monsters if anyone want to come have some fun in the sun, see the new site and have a bbq and drinks laid on for them!
Gordon is kindly reffing the low section. which here is plenty of space on. Most of the people are under 500 points so is being statted with that in mind, and keeping the all together fighting to a minimum. So if you are wanting to play a low level tribal you should book on! Timings are above, people can arrive Friday night from 8pm and camp over in the main field if they wish. People are also welcome to stay over Saturday night. If you are wanting to stay but have no tent space let us know so that we can hopefully find you some. BBQ is included in the cost for all players, you will need to bring drinks in the evening, which can be alcoholic. Please let me know if you are vegi or have any other dietary requirements I need to know about. The site is private land around James K's house, The nearest post code for the site is RH7 6NZ, I have just uploaded a map which shows you the road to drive down to get to the house where we are parking the cars. The main carparking space is marked in blue and is in front of the house. The overflow parking is marked in yellow, but as this is one of James's neighbors business lands please be courteous parking there. Map here: http://www.labyrinthe.co.uk/forum/index.ph...mp;showfile=268 If you have any questions feel free to ask. -------------------- Rich
