Tales are sweeping the Broken Lands. It would seem the Totemic Guardians strongest leaders had ventured forth to battle Aviathar, and send a message to his faith of the might they would face if they troubled the tribes.
In all their fury, they fought hard and triumphed...against a single lone figure that fought them nearly to a standstill. Their foe, a bard, a master of songs not blades, a truly awesome foe for such an esteemed group. Tales tell of the high shaman, Shagrot, who’s powers of divination had his fellows stumbling back and forth seemingly lost in the lands they call their own. Their King Snuffy, an orc of such power and force of will, that he had allowed not just one but two towns now to fall into undeath...and his only response was to seal them away and forget about them. Their shaman, Lug, who seems to hold a terrible fear of...trees. The witchdoctor Muttley, who seems to spend all his time with his head in the clouds and cares nothing for those left behind on the ground. The outsiders Kurth and Mo, imperial stooges both, who spent the day whispering tales of peace and obedience to the leaders of the tribes. The goblin Bubbles, who’s accuracy with her flung balls of poo was such that she nearly killed the groups pet dog, Schlucky, fighting amongst themselves for reasons apparent only to them. The mighty warlord Oggrod, whose new girlfriend wasn’t much of a looker, but seemed to only have to flutter her eyes to have him begging for ways in which he could please her. For those who dig a little deeper, it is noteworthy how fast these tales and similar parodies sweep the land. It would seem that the actual truth is that a blow has indeed been struck, and sometimes heroes don’t get the glory their deeds may deserve... -------------------- Will Power - will@labyrinthe.co.uk

To go with the bizarre tales of the Totemic Guardians, a tune began to be heard throughout the Broken Lands;
QUOTE Well, the world will sing of an Aviwotsit thing.
A thousand years from now, and not because he was any good or deserved his divine power. When dodgy Empress Badrass sent a dragon, her own to slay, The Avi lot used distraction to plot and prepare for another day. While Joey polished his medal and Dave Stone avoided blame, King Snuffy summoned his TG men And kicked Avis [----] again. Despicable as he is inept Whenever the history books are kept, They'll call Avi the phoney god of Martheon. -------------------- Will Power - will@labyrinthe.co.uk
