Hood of the Disenchanter Options

I got the location of the Hood of the Disenchanter in the kit fair tombola and was chatting to people on the day about getting it and making it some kind of guild item/shared item among those who contribute or want to be involved. Seems a more fair/fun way of doing it rather then a big scramble for it at the end of the dungeon!

The item says the dungeon has to be a minimum 7.5k and Ryan has provisionally agreed to ref it in the autumn, probably as a max 15k.
Do other people have bits of the map and the cartographer that would like to be involved or up for contributing them to the cause?

So far we have:
Rich - Location
Dave S/Simon - Map of Ishma
Rob S - Map of Baronies
Sean - Far North

I hope the guild members like the idea of no more artefacts.

Traditionally they have been found in mundane locations and you don’t know you have until it’s too late.

Be on look out for a staff (of the hospitaller), an axe (of the annunciatior).

Unfortunately the hood and the axe ruined the characters (and the associated player) playing life as people often shunned them. As they where very indiscriminate in their destructive nature - except for each other.

And if brought up to date with the current system, people would be unhappy - there was NO way round them and to be true to what they where there should be no way round them now.

Just my opinion but a warning

PS am out as well (from a playing point of view), but happy to relate stories to the ref 😆😇😈

We well aware of what the hood does Warren had it last as JJ and meant couldn't use any other items but gave you a lot of good deny power/dispelling stuff. There was no danger to other near it, it was the Axe of the Annunciator that was the dangerous one that stopped items working within 20 feet of it!

I have been hunting the Hood for over two decades as Void, even spent time in Heroes tracking it down and I was in Ishma in the great sink at the last turn I did. It then appeared during the MCC & Sonof Land of Legend campaign and came into the possession of JJ.

I will happily get involved with playing it despite being only 2k or so as Void.
