Hi people,
I'm looking for a little guidance for a multiclass i'm writing for my oriental ronin monk (Katana specialist basically). The tradition i already have binds me into a loose code of bushido. But basically the character is all about seeking the greatest opponents in combat and fighting them with honour (sadly my combat skill does not live up to the character but hey its fun). I'm currently thinking along the lines of:- a few stand from prones Honours rage :- +1 max & base damage for 5 mins if my honour is insulted maybe 1/2 or 1/3 levels. immunity to backstab (although i'm aware i can get this standardly on tbl 10) /reductions vs attacks from behind. Possibly scaled rage modifier depending on how many opponents i fight at the same time? (not sure if this would work!) Any ideas or suggestions would be welcome. Thanks, Joe |

Have had this sort of thing past for The Fury, after the "destroy them Fury" incident that my rage % goes up from 25 to 33, 50 to 66 if i am fighting more than two opponents with no one else fighting them. -------------------- Attention randomly typing monkeys.

Go Calm Rages .
Also if you looking into dueling style stuff then you probaly want to look at a no max dmg 1st strike in a a duel. Also other ideas would be stacking point base dmg reduction vs 1 foe . Lighting strikes . Light steps . All use full in dueling with a ktana . Sam |

Duelling wise ive had past:
6pts of combat wary if spent 30 secs prep on a target. "intimidating dynamasisms" after 30 secs showing off opponent deals 25% less damage, unless immune to emotion attacks or 9th lvl resistances Groin shot. Target takes a knockdown and a 10 sec halt. -------------------- Attention randomly typing monkeys.

Lvl 1
Calm within the Storm: Any "rages" used are Calm and Controlled. Lvl 2 Adding injury to insult 1/2 levels (__,__): If uses a rage to attack a person who has insulted this character, the rage is increased in effectiveness by 1 step (25% to 33% to 50% to 66% to 75%) and gains +1 base & max damage vs the insulter. Lvl 3 Honour's Defense 1/2 levels (__,__): For 5 mins suffers only 1/2 damage from any "dishonourable" attacks (from behind, from range and such) Lvl 4 The Inverse Law of Ninja Power 1/2 levels (__,__): If outnumbered at the start of a combat can choose to enter a rage: If outnumbered by less than 2:1 it's a 25% rage, if outnumbered between 2:1 and less than 4:1 it's a 33% rage, if outnumbered by more than 4:1 it's 50% Lvl 5 All or Nothing 1/3 levels (__,__) In a pre-arranged, one on one, duel neither participant may benifit from any form of healing. Lasts until the duel is over, afterwhich wounds can be healed as normal. Lvl 6 Fueled by Anger: 25% cold rage @ will. _ Pete |
