Ronseal.
The excellent Mr Wiffen has agreed to ref this - I've emailed the booking line so it should be up soon. Max 10k unbalanced just because I am 9k as Tavis, although with the KOTL no max a couple of weeks before I might end up a-reffing rather than playing J6 overland, with picnic of some description. Guest slots available on request to the usual suspects. Book on! C |

OK, this is booked at J6 and currently has 7 players (although I think Jasper said he can't make it after all, boo).
We have a ref, Julian, and a monster in the form of Laura (yay!) Julian has suggested moving it to the caves because of cows, cow poo, the tendency of cows to eat BBQ and lack of monsters. It seems a shame as Unity picnics don't work down a cave (no beer, no BBQ), but I suspect he is right. Thoughts? C |

We could bring some nice meats, bread, cheese etc and just have an ic lunch? |

We could do a BBQ in the woods down below the big tree in the open wide woodland pathway just above the corner you can take to cut back up the hill?
It would mean carrying a bit of stuff there, but the cows don't seem to go down the hill or into that wood, but I am happy either way, caves or O/L. Huw |

If there are any non-driving monsters about I could pick up from cave/drop off.. or the Harlow area (unlikely).

OK, based on feedback we'll stay on target for J6.
However I do have a pile of requests if that is to be the case. 1) I need at least one more booked monster please 2) You will need 1 extra player to meet the 8 required for J6 3) I'm planning for the party to stop for picnic / BBQ as is traditional for this church 4) I need a volunteer to collect kit from the caves please. I will send whoever it is a list. 5) If I get overwhelmed by hayfever I'm just calling time out, not soldiering on again. Regards Julian -------------------- Embrace your inner munchkin

With 6 playewrs and only one mponster, I'm assuming (if it is still going ahead) that we will be down t'pit as opposed to and overland, probably (now I think about it) a better bet than sharing our food with curious cows and Julians face exploding with hayfever.
If so, what do we need to bring (foodwise) if anything? Also, Playing Abel (See below ) -------------------- Jules

I'm currently planning to play Logros my Shaehan priest on this (assuming that's ok of course; if not I'll go monster for Leo), but was wondering given the lack of combat chars, do we need me to play something else instead?
I'm not sure I have anything particularly appropriate in the points bracket, but I could potentially swap to one of Dusk, Mulch or Yarek, all of whom can actually use a weapon (at least a bit). The only one with any kind of 'in' is that I did a 3-day with Clovis as Mulch, but I am an evil tree ghoul in 50 life ac 6... so hardly a combat beast and not that appropriate. Happy either way, just musing as to whether changing might help party balance a bit. I am quite happy to play whatever. Huw |

Nope, we have combat characters, we're just all really bad. Son of is a spirit warrior with daggers and I have the combat stats of a straight 8th pally, Fi probably has those blessed caltrops around somewhere, Julian has a killed dying effect and Carlo will probably organise a fairy carnival. We'll be fine!

Big thanks to Julian, Laura and Rob for a super day, and one in which I held onto my last 5%! Unexpectedly. Cool plot, loved the ic tarot thing, and we bimbled though with our usual degree of woolly pacifism.
Thanks also to the party for being hilarious throughout, I had forgotten quite how silly we all are I will try and find a date for the next one, if Rich doesn't get me killed on some KOTL madness before then. Cx |

Hopefully I will be able to play the next one as Tai because it will be after myths.

Yup - I am waiting for Son of to send me his dates and Julian to finish with Myths before I put another one in the diary. It was good fun, we did comment on Tai's absence (and that of the Pimms)!
