It was a starry Thorsday evening. The moon illuminated the rocky seas around Port Miere, glistening with ever so much more of a haze from that ever present nacht fog.
And throughout the streets, quiet as ever as the population kept their doors barred lest the beasts enter, roving units of the Shadow Legion in groups of no less than ten, accompanying no less than three ritualists per group, hunted down the primal tears. Where they were found the unit would set up a close perimeter, having first cleared out any obvious threats, occasionally cutting down a nacht beast as it sought to penetrate the tight knit group. Whilst each perimeter held the ritualists set about their work; chanting, hand waving... all the usual. It wasn't really Legion business but they did their job. They kept them safe whilst they did their.... thing. And so, after a few nights of dedicated work, the mists around the city were noticeably lessened, much to the relief of the occupants. It might even be safe to go out... -------------------- Will Power - will@labyrinthe.co.uk
