Weekly Update, 30th & 31st July Options

The next extended length of the year, the Talther Themed 3-day starts this Friday at Maidstone. Although has enough monsters to run some extra drive bys would be more then welcome to come add extra danger and enjoyment! People are on site from Thursday evening with time in Friday morning and time out Sunday lunchtime at Hamlet Wood Scout camp. Get in touch if you want more details.

With the even running the caves are only open Saturday this weekend and is in desperate need of monsters events are as follows:

Saturday
Baronies Themed Max 3k – Ed and Stacey reffing some dungeons set in and around the Baronies, this being the next instalment of that, it is full on players but is in need of some monsters
Max 500 – An open event for lower level characters, of which there are 9 currently booked, however it needs a ref and all the crew as currently no one booked. Is anyone able to step in to make sure this event runs?
Young Players – Currently 8 people booked for this, so good to go but plenty of space for more. Laura is reffing this although currently showing as needing a second ref to help her out.


Further Ahead
The extended lengths come thick and fast over the next month as after this one we have the Max 3k 4-day back at Hamlet wood on the 11th to 14th August, the 2 party Heroic event at Brighton on the 25th-29th August and the 15k 4-day on the 31st-4th September also at Brighton. More crew for any/all of them would be good if people want to get involved!

With all the extended lengths going on it will likely be a fairly quiet month at the caves, currently how things stand over the coming weeks is as follows:
6th/7th August: No events booked, caves could open but would need commitment of a ref/some players for a dungeon
13/14th August (3k 4-day): Young players Saturday, Max 1500 booked Saturday with 11 players, needs ref and crew, nothing Sunday
20th/21st August: 2 busy dungeons Saturday that need crew and private booking for 2 areas. Sunday, 2 dungeons, player space on Max 500, both need crew
27th/28th August (2 Party Heroic): Caves closed currently
3rd/4th September (15k 4-day): Caves Closed, private hire of caves

Normal weekend service should resume come September once the extended lengths are all done!

Saturday is very much in need of the monsters at the caves, if anyone is free please do come along and help out.

Baronies Themed Max 3k – This now needs an a-ref and a couple of monsters, is down to 11 players
Max 500 – Down to 4 players and still hasn't got a ref or any crew so currently looking unlikely to run unfortunately
Young Players - Andy J now reffing with Laura, still on 8 players

With the lack of crew, and not wanting to draw potential drive bys away from Talthar, as well as a fairly significant unforeseen event, the adult dungeons at the caves this weekend have been cancelled.

Young players will go ahead as planned
