Loads of great ideas!!! - obviously I mean the occassionally contract hire. I have been thinking about it and now I am thinking almost like an anti-hero. Perhaps someone who takes contracts to kill outlawed characters?
A lot to think about really, I don't want to spoil anyone else's fun but killing an outlaw or another evil PC - maybe that is fair game. I am thinking spiritual now rather than magical. -------------------- Richard Eden (Possibly human maybe a vampire)

Almost all good wayfarer stuff is 2nd class (walk through walls, major prayer, shifts)
Most good assassin stuff is 1st class To make good use of way finder you need a full spirit So which races supplement being an assassin? Obvious: Goblin (Dac, backstab, no max ac running away - but you are a goblin which is tedious and make disguise and stuff hard) Gith - for reasons I have already discussed - best get out of your restrictions ASAP though Ratfolk - for reasons Benson has mentioned Less obvious Orc - the published Orc multi race for scouts is insane and very cheap - there is even an Orc based legion so you could be an outlaw hunting Orc assassin - only killing PCs that essentially have chosen to be targets rather than killing people because someone has an IC/ OOC issue with them and put a contract on them in the pub... Don't knock Calabrim Thug as a base, maybe with a base race change to suit a role play concept?
(1/2 spirit, buy 1/2 fx mana standardly, with a host of development angles. Maybe there is something stronger in feeding off Vitae infused essence... Hence the reason to go after appropriate (outlaw) mercenaries?) Alasdair |

Bulajin (Sp?) Ishmaic assassin - good clan benefits, can now join some guilds AND can get huge resistances to magic - strong! Rob This. You can buy every published stealth upgrade by table 8. Add a method of getting more chameleons (dabbler, MC wizard or stealthmage or similar) and you're everything an assassin could every hope to be. Cap it off with primal soul human for quin in B, because pairs of knives are clearly for less confident assassins who think they need to swing a second blow. |
