Hi All

I need some assistance for a build if I may!

I'd need to make a bounty hunter character for a themed dungeon. Something with some fun racial roleplay and the ability to relatively quickly identify outlaws / detect lies (eventually over different power bases?) and yet survive once I've found an outlaw and try and take them in.

I'd like to play something that can do reasonable physical damage if needed but ideally also some access to other power bases to bring the evil doers to justice unharmed if possible!

I'm totally confused - I've thought about paladins, assassins, neuronic classes, grutuck, dwarves, draves and I've got myself so muddled up that I don't know where to start now!

I'm at the point where I need to ask better minds than mine so any suggestions greatly appreciated!

I don't need to play it until mid-October but I want plenty of time to submit any necessary pointsapps!

Consider a Blue Wizard.
Go Bounty Hunter to identify your prey and then two greater electric shocks or similar (40 winks) to ruin their day.
Teleport or plane shift gets you home.
Can be up and running by 750 points.

Consider and ensure you have a way to contribute and have fun if there are no outlaws.

I think an Orc pathfinder or thug gone Dabbler would suit you well. Plenty of racial role play, damage and supernatural ability (of a degree). You can buy the Bounty Hunter MC and maybe points app a few buffs to the buy as (Limit your supernatural buy as to specific colours to elevate what you can buy). And the current guilds give you strength and AC.

Blade sharpening = quin
Supernatural bits n bobs
Life and Ac if you want it
And lots of ‘interesting’ potential.

Or if you are pondering, do the above with a different race.... halfling MC elder fey springs to mind (knife thrower). (David might encourage you towards halfling immortal... run if he does!)

From a long time ago when things were on yellow paper

two sides to this multi-class. 1st part are the normal abilities and the 2nd part was what would happen if i became an outlaw

1st part
level-1 = Discern outlaw 20' at will after 10 seconds
level-2 = +1 PAC whilst in MC Plate over MC Chain. stacks with standard abilities
level-3 = (This was changed to) Blade fury at will vs known outlaws
level-4 = Double resistance magic & spirits levels vs known outlaws
level-5 = not worth mentioning
level-6 = Perm adrenal surge vs Known outlaws (+1 strength(max2) +1 Max damage, +12/4 Life, 25% cold rage)

2nd part this happens if i become outlawed:
level-1 = Looses all 1st part abilities
level-2 = Looses all DAC, SAC, MAC and Bless vs Empire officers (Army) and ICOB members
level-4 = 1/2 resistance level magic & spirits levels vs Empire officers (Army) and ICOB members
level-6 = -1 strength -1 Max damage, -12/4 Life Empire officers (Army) and ICOB members
