Hi all,
So I've got a character who's gone super dabbler, he's a bit of a rebirth, but that doesn't really matter for this. Scout -> weyfinder -> leywalker -> rogue was relatively simple, the trouble is... awakener gives one a potion restriction which is going to cause some issues for a character that's been quite heavily making and relying on potions. So I was thinking of something along the lines of: --- Is in the neuronic and scout bracket (c.f. rogue) 1st level Auric colour (at will) 2nd level Neuronic penetration 1 per level ( , ) 3rd level Neuro balance at will 1 standard scout skill 4th level Artefact study at will 5th level Neuro mastery at will 1 Standard scout skill 6th level Mind bar at will Post 6th buy as awakener (but not passive tree neuronic upgrades) --- Now some among you will have noticed that this is the active neuronic tree. My questions are: Is it worth me putting in the scout skills, I probably don't need more and have all of the level based ones. Do people think it's likely to get passed, it feels a little cheeky It's not that interesting, does anyone have a different idea for something similar? I haven't put in utilise neuronic items or buy foci as I have those through dabbler. Thanks Ben |

I reckon just go fully active and if you really want the scout skills do the published "master scout". You can buy more neuronics with the passive tree and *may* be able to push one or two small buy as options through YP from your tendency?
I get you won't be able to buy as awakener, but given I think you'll struggle to get a neuronic buy as without a potion restriction I think casting stamina and healing potions would trump not buying the odd more potent neuronics innate Dave H Hi all,

Neuronic buy as without potion restriction is probably MR territory (c.f. Silverfolk)

Have you considered just buying Active + Passive Neuronics (Seeems to be most of the stuff you have listed) and then going Spy and then just applying for the additional Neuronic stuff you want based off that?
What exactly are you after neuronic wise? BBB -------------------- Grey's Law: Any sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice...

Why not just go Spy? And put in a 1 liner - buy as Awakener?
I think you're unlikely to get the Active/ Passive tree best bits passed as a multi class - would just buy it anyway - I doubt it will be any cheaper Giles. |

Just go Awakener, and buy strength of body for 40pts. Means you lose the potion restriction, but are limited to buying 1 neural foci per table - which shouldn't be too drastic a restriction for a dabbler style neuronicist
