QUOTE Apologies for Erroneous Reports ------------------------------- The Primal Times would like to offer an apology for the erroneous report of the death of Leofric Edwige. Though we believed our source was to be trusted and there were a great many similar reports it appears that all such rumours were tall tales produced by an unknown individual. The dead body was simply a common man of strikingly similar appearance who had been dressed up in fake heraldry and finery. Why someone would wish to fake the death of a man who has already been disowned by his house is unknown. That hundreds of people dreamt of his death is strange also. The Primal Times has already offered a sum of 25,000g in compensation to Earl Edwige. QUOTE Mysterious Arrests ------------------ Rumour has been flying around the Torsland Dales of the outrageous actions of Magistrate Willoughby Chase of Halgar. By all account he stormed into the Monastery of the Brazen Coin, a well respected faith concerned with ensuring local people have enough wealth for proper and appropriate death rites and that the common people have the same chances and opportunities in life and death as the rich, wealthy and mercenary. There, he arrested every single priest of the faith, and had a number of others murdered by soldiers of the 101st. What justification he had for these arrests is anyone's guess, but we are reassured that Deacon Abbrantas has travelled to Halgar and is fully complying with the law. He passed a message on that there is nothing to fear and he is sure that he will be released without charge in due course. Meanwhile a number of his priests who were away from the monastery at the time have stated that perhaps the mercenaries who attacked were simply scared of the fact that the faith enabled the common peon to be restored to life and that perhaps their power and status would be eroded. We of the Primal Time wouldn't like to comment one way or the other. QUOTE Iolus Restored!
--------------- The ancient hydra totem of the former Malloch Tribe which was shattered into twelve heads by desperate ritual during the time of the Great Devourer has been reformed. When talking to those involved it was clear that this success was the result of months of travelling, searching, investigating and desperate combat. It is fantastic to hear that Iolus is once again restored. In an astounding display of openness those who live beyond Vora's Wall were seen to be celebrating around open gates. In the eastern Dales, even Magda, the solitary mud witch was seen in conversation with Roger Weaver and Rickard Steel around Quarringheath Market. All seemed in very good spirits and were openly talking about what a wonderful achievement this restoration is. -------------------- Will Power - will@labyrinthe.co.uk
