This is not an in character change, it is entirely out of character. The reason behind it is to encourage people to engage in IC trade rather than just buying stuff from the desk. It is also intended to improve well equipped abilities so they are worth the points they cost.
Temporary 6pts (potion allowance) now cost 200 grulls per dose. Armour now costs 50grulls per location per point of A/C when purchased from the desk, and it is not possible to buy master crafter armour from the desk. This means a suit of A/C 3 all over is 3x7x50 (1050 grulls total) to buy. The free armour and potion for characters below 250 points is improved. As such all characters below 250 points are well equipped with a suit of armour which may be master crafted (no card is issued) and their standard potion allowance is free, UNLESS they are outlaws or ostracised within their home nation. Additionally with regards to potions: Purchased from ref potions (the potion allowance) now lasts until the end of the dungeon. Temp potions last 6 months, or once opened until the end of the day. Permanent potions last until opened, at which point they last until the end of the day. The sealing skill can now be used at any point in the dungeon (including the debrief) and return the potion back to it's normal state (Permanent or temporary) Lee (Edited to include the changes to potion life and save another thread). -------------------- Please send points apps to: pointsapp@labyrinthe.co.uk
And send system questions etc. to: Lee@labyrinthe.co.uk |
