Hi guys:
I'm looking at background and a church for a probable myths character- a paladin, and wanting to know about church ethos. Would someone be able to give me some info on commonly worshipped hero's in this church and their mythos/history? Matt |

I'm pretty certain that each individual player has their own list of heroes and heroic tales.
And that individuals come up with their own set of heroes - one of the really cool things about the Church. BBB -------------------- Grey's Law: Any sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice...

Yes, BBB is right. Everyone has their own heroes which they venerate.
If any were to be considered to be commonly worshipped, it would be those which grant (or used to grant) guild abilities. |

But it does mean that you can try to skank a wide variety of scrolls off guild members with different miracle lists.

Can I suggest we actually write up the tales of some of our worshipped heroes?
Would be suitable to actually put up on our guild board & get some guild extension (never know what to put up on these things) Julian -------------------- Embrace your inner munchkin

I've been trying to get a list off of players for the upcoming gs - but not having much luck

Well there was Galdor..... Anti-Paladin leader of the 101st a few years back. Died charging into the entire group of 5 monsters. When he was ressed he asked how it could have been done. On finding that he had been brought back by the NPC Druid he ordered one of his own soldiers to kill him (Galdor!) as a sign of his utter hatred and disdain for Druids.
He was dispatched by the Runepriest and chose not to have his returner as a sign of respect. Not really heroic in some ways.... just a fascist bigot really. Ah... the good old days. Tim |
