Just to make it easier for folk to see, this is what the letters said. People should of course say if they're not sharing, but otherwise for ease of viewing, here they are:
Huw --------------- 1) Dearest Talthari, I do hope you manage to find this paperwork and that Selgard hasn't managed to blow it up like last time (what a disappointment), and that you're suitably smarting after the dawn. I've made a few copies of things I and my brother are working towards, because lets be frank you've got the subtletly of penal legion in a brothel, and really, what harm will come of telling you. Certainly I will enjoy seeing you rush around like ferrets killing everything in your path and failing miserably to do anything about it. Never mind, I wish you the best of luck, although there's clearly no hope of you suceeding. Hugs & Kisses, Lady Persiphone Shar'elle Vo Lecht 68th Imperial Legion Arrogance 2) 68th Imperial Legion - Goals, Agenda & Recent Activity A report commissioned by Lady Vo Lecht for the benefit of the Talthari. In all good spirit and generosity. The Dawn: Activities around the final dawn proved successful, the pacts made by the Myronese to gain control over Winter were sundered, leaving us the sole remaining players in the piece. Our pacts from two years ago still remain strong and in the culling of those Gathen who came south at the blade of Dror'Bael, none of our interests were sullied. Indeed war between the tribes and the Gathen were perpetuated as desired, and as is their nature. That they continue to war is naturally healthy for the defense of our northern borders. A full three helds of the 68th were slain during the assault on the Myronese forces in the north when said pacts were sundered. As intended these have risen again as Revenants of Wintry Despair and now form a solid implacable core within the legion. The 28th have expressed a desire to share knowledge of some of our more potent rites in this regard, and we have deemed it prudent to share that necromantic knowledge which we hold aside from that relating to winter. The Myronese & Empire Defenses: In ensuring the defense of the major cities we have taken over several sites where we might weave the rites of winter. These we can cast down upon our foes and the foes of the Empire, such that while we are not unduly affected by winter, their forces will be severely hampered. These rites gather the most power in religiously significant sites, and we've located a number of primarily Talthari sites to requisition on behalf of the legion and the Empire, for it's defense. As a secondary part of such defenses, the touch of such rites will fall upon the local populous. No intrinsic harm should befall such unless they are killed, one would imagine by the Myronese. Such, when killed, would rise again to form the host of War, striking back with far greater potency than that which they had in life. In time, and with enough sites we should be able to overlay these rites over the entire Empire, such that when war is joined Winter can be called to shroud the lands, movement hampered, supply lines cut, forces disrupted, and all who fall will rise again and join our host. In War, our numbers will only grow. In War, will our glorious Empire be most strongly defended. Let us stride forth now, for we will triumph no matter the odds, and rise again no matter how often we fall, for none can defeat us. For the 68th, For the Empire! Of our fallen Brethren: Khazballa has gone back to Ishma and once again isolated himself from both us and those who pander and scrape to Aminae's whims. His anger consumes him and clouds his vision. Of all of us he was always the weakest; pathetic really that he wanders the desert as little more than a small angry peasant. Aminae has something up his sleave, I can feel it. That he suceeded in garnering power at the dawn even after his bastard father's death is remarkable, but it will do him no good. I am sure that someone will catch up with him sooner or later, and if not, when he comes to call we shall simply have The Cradle bind him like a puppet. Teribus belives he's been killing place spirits and gathering their power, though how he knows such I'm not sure. March forth my Talthari army, destroy him and bring us your much vaunted hope! As for the others, they scurry and scrape like pathetic moles, blind and weak. Decay hides in the fens and Discord cowers and bleats amongst the preachers of Scarlene, standing on a soap box and preaching like a commoner. Pathetic. I openly invite you to stride forth and strike them down. If even they are not too much for you. Enjoy, Lady Persiphone Shar'elle Vo Lecht 68th Imperial Legion Arrogance |

Huw,
at the moment we hadn't intended to share, mainly due to the IC (and probably OOC) flack that the church would get. There is enough problems with the Warlord and Senate in general (as you are aware) I didn't think it was quite right to drop this one yet. However, with your posting it is out in the open so I think we will need to do something soon. Phil. PS. Thanks to everyone for a great dungeon. Thoroughly enjoyed the day. -------------------- You're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!

Yea seriously, private guild board anyone? This can't be acted on, by people outside of the church plus its not even in an ic thread its just a copy for us. Plus this is obviously labyrinthe plot, not heroes.

So,
it's now October... When are we going to do the next Guild Special? Also, March next year is the 20th Anniversary of a few (very young) players thinking "Let's start a guild up". The first adventure in Martius 991IM was a drowe bash to retrieve the first ring of Talthar. Does the guild want to try and do something to commemorate this landmark / milestone?
