I have booked to referee this and should be grateful if you would post here with your chosen character details once booked.
Thanks in advance,
Simon Mercer.
Book as Raven.
6k of scout.
I was thinking of playing this, but Im not sure I would feel safe on it as a 700point 1st class warrior on an unbalanced, if I can work out a plan to get to 1000 points beforehand I will feel safer.
Findulias.
same character you reffed on the Companions...
Hi

Hi guys: I'm in London with a day to kill on the 29th of March since my friend rudely booked a holiday in Ireland the weekend I agreed to visit him and I've just seen this interesting event on 29th of March. Two questions: firstly, I see Hell company characters should be goodly. I have a LN warrior who's character concept is specifically being a demonslayer. Can I join/come along for the ride? If so do I need to get permission from anyone? Secondly: Lee Dale is on the board to ref this event... is Simon reffing now or is it Lee- to be honest I'd be very pleased with either, but if I get on it I'd be pleased to know.
Cheers,
Matt
Oh yeh, and can anyone explain an 'unbalanced' event to me... does this basically mean 'feel free to come along as your 1k character but don't complain when you get chopped to ribbons by the legendary monsters?' or is it a little more complex?
Cheers
Mattway
Unbalanced is a bit like the guild specials of yore.
It means that the dungeon should be written to the party rather than to max X or simply the highest character.
So you should be able to contribute as a 1k character. As for having you along I certainly wouldn't object but I'd wait for sonof to speak.
I'm happy for you to book on matt. As for ref, I';m definately not reffing it, as I'm playing it.

Hi all,
I'm booked on this now- following discussions with Lee I'm playing Lucky Rob- a 4k Thug.
Cheers, see ya all next week.

AAAAAAAggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!
My parents moved recently and despite several conversations about not throwing out my labby kit I've just arrived in London to find they threw out 'just two old folders'. Folder A contained all my cards and Folder B contained all my points requests. To be honest, I dunno where this puts me in relation to playing on saturday- or in relation to live rolep[lay in general for that matter. I've e-mailed Rachael but have no idea if I'll be able to play now. Sorry.
Mattway
Urrgh real sorry to hear that Matt.
Sorry - I've had to book off as well due to being ill.
Have told the ref and booking line this, but it makes the dungeon a bit on the small size... any chance of a reschedule - new dungeon at a later date.
Lucy
Very sorry i didn't make it on saturday. This was due to having an ill and pregnant wife who needed to be taken to hospital (she's fine now).
Hope it was good.
Nige
Glad to hear that your wife is well, which is the important thing.
As for the dungeon we had a comedy quartet consisting of 3 scouts and a pure priest.
Simon needs a thank you as do his two monsters in Dave & Chris? (So osrry if I got your name wrong!) for an interesingly themed dungeon with such historic referee favourites of "carry this ammo crate" and time in your potions are frozen.
Poor old Matt Way had to tank everything for us as a thug.
oops... uploaded that by accident.
Well, I enjoyed it very much so thanks again to Simon and the monstering crew. And tanking wasn't so bad as a thug with lee's combat curing skills, although I did have a moment at the start when I thought I'd get the ammo box all day... 'oh yeh, you've got strength, you can roleplay that by carrying the heavy thing', but luckily it wasn't to be.
If more dungeons were as enjoyable as that I'd pay Ryanair their £30 for the trip over more often!
