Depends on where thresholds fall really (and on the party and the plot) - either a 4.5k mantic healing priest/scout or a 1k green/ebony wizard.

1k Dominion Priest, 2k Witch or 4.5k Psychic are my current musings. Most likely my witch, but will wait on plot and the like.

So basically; hardly anyone is deciding what to play until the thresholds are decided and the thresholds won't be decided until everyone decides what to play... Anyone else see a problem here?
I'll be play one of several different characters between 2ish and 4ish thousand points: Rus, Moonglum or my goblin antipaladin. Outside odds are being given on either Gaxx or Lucas (both 6k). J -------------------- No of course I won't ref. Are you mad?

I will be playing a sub 2k character - not sure which yet though. Probably my very low point Shaman or my Ebony Drave assassin

Thinking 6k rogue. Happy to range down to 3k/5k or up to 9.5k if there are helpful party numbers reasons to do so.

Am only booked on to the last section, but will be 5k of furry ratfolk action..or if the mood takes me 3k or psi drowe, but very much inclined to vent some fury I will have built up having to work the festive period...so rat looks favourite.

- I'm more interested in seeing what the plot is before deciding. Huw Yup, makes big differences If Alan won't give Miles the plot, then he'll have to accept whatever happens -------------------- |

Yup, makes big differences If Alan won't give Miles the plot, then he'll have to accept whatever happens Miles and I have discussed the plot. Alan has provided full details. We are agreeing success and failure criteria and implications. Once everyone is comfortable, Miles will release details. And just to respond where I probably shouldn't, Alan won't just have to accept what happens. This whole system works well by people talking and working together, co-operating to bring together all of the diverse ideas brewed in the minds of the dozens of people involved. It does not work by sticking two fingers up at people and telling them to like it or lump it. Stuart |

Final Dawn 2011 Update
The Final Dawn event is fast approaching, and this post is to provide a few details and referee requests. Firstly, bookings for playing this event are now closed. There will be no additional players on the event, and should anyone book off the event their space will be removed. In the event of a player booking off, please don’t attempt any online ninja action to grab spaces – the spaces will be removed. With regards to threshold, there will be 8 spaces available for max 10k characters. The remaining characters will need to be under 5250. If you wish to play a max 10k character, you should contact Carlo (carlospag@hotmail.com) with details of the character you wish to play. These spaces will be given on a first come, first served basis. In any event, the ref’s have asked that all players let them know what characters they intend to play by the end of next week (4th December). It is anticipated that the section splits will be 1k – 3k, 3k-5250 and 5250 – 10k. The referee’s have said that they feel it would be inadvisable to play characters below 1k. In addition, the referee’s would like to let players know that the plot for the event will not be a HotE specific plot. Whilst there may well be elements and/or encounters in the event relating to specific current plot lines (Myron, Black Lead, Sunless, Crael etc) the main thrust of the event will not be focused on any of these existing plot arcs. For characters playing both days, or both days and night, it is planned for there to be one battleboard restoration during the event. The event still needs an additional section ref and a number of monsters. Whilst I know that Jo has (and will continue to.. :0) been drumming up interest on her ringround, I felt it was worth mentioning here and asking any clubmembers who will be at a loose end between Christmas and New Year to book to monster what promises to be a great end of year event. Thanks, Phil. |

Is there going to be some kind of preliminary brief before the end of next week, because it will probably influence what people play to a good degree?
