There aren't (that I know of) any city maps specifically. However every city has about five quarters (don't ask) and various rural areas.
So if you're interested in more detail about a specific city feel free to ask either in public here, or by PM if you're afraid people might get upset by the question / you want to keep things quiet. The best people to talk to depends on the city though so if it's about a specific city then I'd just ask who knows about it and they'll likely give you more information than you can manage... As well as offers of money for help with city specific issues, postions on their council, noble family titles etc. Ben Some of the above may be (slight) exaggeration. |

I think they are specifically not mapped to allow things to be a bit more free-form and irregular, rather than spending ages having to work out what streets are where when writing something that happens in a town.
Also the amount of structures that are built every month would make it almost impossible to keep up to date. -------------------- - "I think it's nearly there just need some flavor txt...."
- "10 second kick-in so the Dark Knight has enough time to get away before they notice it healing them" - "Disappearing as a warrior for some tblp is a bit like them wanting to cast fiireblade for some tblp it just makes no sense..." - "How about, the first blow he hits in combat may be a sever blow, this must be done at 1/2 speed" Awesome... |

The cities aren't mapped.
They have quarters which are themed by their purpose within the city but in a world as mystical as Primus these things can be quite mutable. Indeed rumours abound of parts of Deci at one time having a "Sentient" quarter known as "The Poison Quarter". The general folk belief of many peons is that "Maps Lie", probably because places change and the memories of the peons change to be consistent with the changes to the place but the maps don't, so rapidly become wrong. Scribe folklore would have it that by mapping a place though you limit its ability to change. There used to be a map of Scarlene put togehter very nicely by Martin Mann but its about 8 years out of date. There is the Diviner's Map of the Empire that shows the relative locations of the city's, great forests, great rives and the trade routes - which is about as mapped as the Empire gets. Although a very basic map of each city should be possible
With the 5 quarters labelled. Would be useful to know the layouts -------------------- |

Well you have a North, south, east and west quarter and the fifth is the central. A map would therefore look pretty much like that. I think in each of the city descriptions on the boards there are details of the quarters and their themes if they have one. I know for sure Port Miere has such!
I think with maps they would literally be so basic as to day West Qtr, Port. North Qtr. industry as to be irrelevant. Reading the board information on the cities gives you a firm grasp of the cities nature. A quick email or post here would no doubt get you a specific answer. -------------------- - Pants

Would be useful to know the layouts Well, a few cities do have descriptions of their quarters under the Gameworld links here for the relevant cities. If you want more info speak to those who work the city (If you need to know who that is PM me and I can always tell) BBB -------------------- Grey's Law: Any sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice...
