The faith of Valesius (and Letreal [see below]) are hereby Censured within the Empire. It is an outlawable offense to actively draw personal power from or give worship to either deity. Temples, Shrines and other places of worship should be swiftly and efficiently dismantled as rapidly as possible. Cities should do their utmost in preventing such existing structures being used until dismantling is possible. The guilds I'm sure will be happy to help and the Inqusition will provide aid and funding where required.
To provide a brief summary of why such must be the case: Valesius is nothing but the pawn and puppet of the god Letreal (Morgoth's Namer), the latter who has remained hidden and undetected for these past years since that terrible time. Faith and worship shown to Valesius is simply garnered by Letreal, hidden and unnopposed. Letreal should his power grow further, and it is strong already, would pose a significant supernatural and martial threat to the citizens of, and the Empire itself. This is certainly not something we wish to happen given the other apparent threats we face - notably Myron and the Sunless, amongst others. Myron already hid itself from us and grew in power over the years, and now they seek to invade, we are not about to let the same thing happen again, hence this edict. If indivudals believe they require more information on why this is the case please contact me individually and I will attempt to provide such if necessary.
