The path to redemption, Salvas Options

The sun rose over a cold morning on Salvas. Tired guards lined the walls of Humanities Hold, some could be seen moving debris and bodies from the front gates into mass graves or even into makeshift defences. The Hold had seen fewer attacks in recent days and this had given time for some fortifications to be made, people to have a break and re-enforcements to be brought in, though to say it had been easy would be a falsehood.

Power thrummed from a decrepit temple though a bright flicker could be seen pulsating up one of the leys of power that emanated from the temple, having seemingly reached; a stalemate in it’s fight toward the central focus.

The plane, at large, was oddly quiet on this cold winter morning, still wrought with destruction, decay and corruption, but without the relentless slaughter of humanity that had been seen in the months prior.
