Hello,

As some of you have probably seen I have booked to ref a 4 part lower level campaign next year. Duncan is in the process of setting up a board for it, which will have more info on.

Broadly the campaign is pro-empire in as far as it’s an imperial brief and outlaws might not do too well. I’m not saying you can’t play an outlaw, just be warned.

The intention is to provide a backdrop with a set of targets for the party to achieve. How you reach them (after the first dungeon) becomes up to the players, what order things get done in, and the like. Basically to avoid the feel that sometimes happens of “Do A, then B and so on”.

I would very much like monsters to monster the entire thing, it means there can be a good feel for the party and people get to know how the dungeons will work. As incentives I’ve agreed those people that monster for the campaign will get a little something as a reward (it’s a surprise).

On the player front, much like the mini-campaigns of old, I’ve talked to Duncan and there will be an “item” of some sort for those that play the campaign, again it will be a surprise.

The brief will be posted shortly for ooc reasons, but in character won’t be appearing until the 2nd of January next year.

*With regards to monstering for this campaign*
Booked onto pre-8th on 5th Jan so doubt I will have the wife points needed for two days in a row. Feb & March look fine. April might have jet lag from practising my oriental accent in land of rising sun (I get back the afternoon before).
Not going to be able to do all 4 to get a mystery thank you, but happy to pre-book Feb & March if you don't mind someone not doing the whole lot. Also happy to book off if you find enough people to do all 4 from the start.
See you if you are down this Saturday.
Happy holidays

Andy
