Just wanted to say thank you to Iain, Richard and his capable monster crew yesterday for the Deci Gents adventure.

Lots of plot and history in there for those with an interest for such and paying attention.

Great statting for a party of scout heavy misfits. Really enjoyed the work out and had literally nothing left at the end bar a few scrolls and a pet vampire ph34r.gif

Despite spending the whole day at the back feeling ill and useless I did have a very good day. Many thanks to everyone involved.

Yep, thanks from me too. Twas nice to be able to get the ghoul out of the box again.

As to anyone feeling "useless" I'd wager most of the 'scouts' had more, or at least as much, life, ac and damage reductions as me. Just get stuck in. If everyone cowers at the back then things which aren't that hard seem far more difficult because they just wade in and everyone backs off. If everyone gets stuck in, then by and large, things gets decimated before they've had a chance to do very much. Certainly on these sort of scout-heavy outings and at this level, as a scout/assassin there's certainly no harm in bringing a shield/bigger weapon along and switching things up a bit.

My being useless had little to do with what character I was playing, more the state I was in while playing lol.

Ah, I see :-) I suggest battle-brew as a solution.

Sorry for being a bit late but i like to say a big thanks to Rich and a great set of monsters, they made my life a whole lot easyer on the day.

It was funny to watch the party from time to time and the 2 guests helped push the party along.

Anyway thanks to monsters, A Ref and party for making it a good day for myself.

Iain
