Respectable Family brutally murdered by Beggar Filth!
Number 11 Pallas Street was a smart address, home to the well liked Seldam family, often known to host charitable events. On last Sunsday it was tragically transformed into a scene of utter horror. The house invaded by the lowest kind of brutal scum, who murdered the family and their servants in their sleep and then took up residence in the house in bizarre mockery of their victims. Victims who were further defiled by being raised as undead monsters and forced to serve their social inferiors. The leader of this rabble, one Quintus Mock, was well known to the watch for his numerous crimes. Lord Joshua De Fontaine and his retinue are to be praised for bringing this man to justice and collected a well-deserved bounty for his defeat. The Post says that this city has tolerated murderous and thieving vagrants far too long – those of no fixed address should be rounded up and sent to a workhouse where they can do useful work and be of no threat to hard working families. The danger they pose otherwise is all too clear. Local Hero Foils Heist Morgan Sireless, a civic minded local mercenary, surprised the infamous Velvet Hand gang as they attempted a daring raid on one of the city’s most secure vaults. The robbers were stopped right as they were about to break through the final wardings and make off with valuable jewellery belonging to the Vercarni family, traders from the Baronies. The watch were happy to pay out the reward for apprehending a fae member of the gang known as Sandy. Property Prices Fall as Crime Wave Continues Not far from the scene of the brutal Pallas Street murders, what had seemed to be a perfectly ordinary curiosity shop owned by one Mr Henry Hollow turned out to be the lair of a coven of demonologists, involved in depraved rituals featuring ratfolk. The busy watch was called once again to a scene of some carnage after mercenaries had put a stop to their evil ways. Citizens of this once fine neighbourhood are starting to fear what may be going on behind the closed doors and drawn curtains of their neighbours. An atmosphere of fear pervades the area and several families have stressed a desire to sell up and leave town for their own safety. -------------------- Will Power - will@labyrinthe.co.uk
