Does our church support it's followers being Knights?
I have always been interested in joining them - more so since I gave my vitae to help some of our members who were knights. I also love their new Lord who we all know is an Unholy Champion at heart. Sh*t -------------------- Sh*t - Son of Git, Squire of the Order of Dragons - 8K

Feel free to join if you agree that Tristan’s voice holds as much weight as Mistress Serin’s, personally I think her voice is far more important

I personally am not against it, and have often thought for our pro-imperial reputation having Knights gives people a conscience. Rufus certainly did good things for the Church, and he was the Lord Knight.
That being said, and following Tristan's announcement, I would remind people that giving our word is sacrosanct, thus if you are a Knight, and then break the oath, you will have broken your word. Its highly possible not only will you be cast out of Knights, you would be in serious breach of the faith which may depending what mood Serin is in have further repercussions, be it excommunication, or just having wrath of the Lords cast at you repeatedly. So actually when you think about it, we are better suited to be Knights than goodly priests, the church's religious beliefs mean you can't break the oath. No moral quandary (faith vs Oath) for the dark hearted protectors of Primus. Where is my shield, maybe ill start saying the oath. Although Serin's version is the only one I can think of right now. And people don't believe you lot when you say Tristan is a Tryst member, the blindness of some people. I also think following this hard line stance from the Knights, and with more and more priests of light leaving, it will be an excellent opportunity for members of the faith to show how good we can be at defending the land and its people. Excellent PR opportunities for the coming year. Jez |

Sadly; I can't be joining them; they got all tetchy when I killed one of them when I was the Champion of Light *spits on the ground*, oh how I have grown.
I am thoroughly enjoying all the priests of light abandoning the knights and as Jez says, the more that leave the darker the knights will become which is positive. Some great PR opportunities to be had! I prefer Serrin's version of the oath, also can't help adding "when they feel like it" after they finish their oath, that's come close to getting me killed a few times...... I am not a fan of church members being Knights!
If there oath gets in the way of church business then that would not be good for them. Not that it matters what I think... I'm just a shadow. If anyone has to much spare time then they should be working for the betterment of the faith. Abbad. |

[----] great answers.
Problem is I do like to stab people a lot but deep down I have never left anyone behind even if they are a total [----]. I shall try to think about it, not something I like to do really.
