I wish all of the Faithful well.
Following over a decade away I plan to make myself known once more about the lands and within the cathedral. I am hoping to obtain the following teaching scriptures - * Lesser Wings of Darkness * Wings of Darkness * Soul's Hunger * Cause Critical Wounds * Spiritual Form * Claws of the Imbaiu I have grulls. If you are able to scribe any of these, please advise. Regards, Relic -------------------- The devil comes to Moscow wearing a fancy suit. Relic,
I am assuming you are a member of my faith as you are seeking a Scripture of the Claws of the Imbaiu and because you are in our private chambers. Assuming you are I can assist with scribing some of those Scriptures for you. Further, Mallerstang should also be able to assist (he is not a member of our faith but is adept in writing scriptures for other faiths). If you are not a member of my faith I would enquire as to why you are seeking a Scripture containing one of our secrets. Special Inquisitor Jacoby Stillwater Church of the Tryst |

Jez My Lord, It is an honour to see you even utter my name, for this I thank you. I also thank you my unholyness for allowing me to use many of your personal possessions to aid myself and the newer members of our faith. Relic I would be happy to help you, I specialise in the manufacture of unholy water but will have some time to write some of these scriptures that our god bestowed upon us. Maybe as high priest you should contribute to the substantial value of the making of these artifacts? Or maybe make some yourself as I am sure you are more than capable of doing. Tread careful Barab, I find it ironic the first time the faith here from you in a decade is when relic announces his return, and a church you have ignored for a decade awakes from it's slumber through the actions of others. If it were left to you you'd be the high priest of whatever dark cave it is you have been hiding in these last years.
The next time you speak to one of MY priests try to keep a civil tongue, if it's in your semi-intelligent undead brain to do so. Jez. |

So enter these chambers for the 1st time and find you squabbling. This does not bode well.
I expected this from the ghouls fighting over the flesh of a freshly murdered priest of Mortard, not the revered. I dedicated my life to be the ultimate fighter through discipline and sacrifice, so forgive if I dont 'micky' that up the wall by commiting to my masters who cant agree even to assist each other. While I agree we are not a charity it would be sensible to support the new members.
If you do not tend to the seeds the garden will not grow. If anyone needs my skills of making particulars then please ask I am happy to support and build the faith Joseph Stillwater |

Joseph,
I don't believe we've met but are we related? I am aware that my grandfather did attempt to create different bloodlines within the family in order to secure our ancient pact and prevent it from failing. Are you bound to the first Act of Loyalty under the Contract of Life and Death as I am? Apologies for deviating from the conversation. Jacoby Stillwater |

On a separate note it would be a shame for others to see us arguing in this way. There is a significant threat to our faith which needs to be dealt with. After the events of the Dawn (the one before last) our church has been heavily criticised. We do not want to be an easy target for the faiths of light. If we show weakness then they will prey on us.
Lord Khan, I understand your reaction and as High Priest you do of course hold the rite of excommunication (I doubt anyone would challenge that). Although I would plead with you to refrain from its use for the time being at least. We all need to meet in person and we need to deal with our enemies. Once they are vanquished internal emnities can of course be dealt with. Another option would be to enact a pact of Respect and Defence with one another. I wouldn't want to jump in to that too quickly though. Although many problems can be resolved through simple pacts. Jacoby |

Back to the original point of my missive...
I can confirm that I am a member of this Faith - I have just been absent for some time. Indeed I joined this faith when we were still able to cast the Bar Spirit prayer. It was not my intention to cause any disagreements or unpleasentness - which has obviously been the case. My thanks to those who can assist and are happy to do so - otherwise I will simply scribe these myself. I fully intend on travelling in the not to distant future and can only hope that when we do so as a church then we can act with solidarity to further the goals and tennets of this faith and look forward to discussing with like minded individuals the best way to ensure this faith goes from strength to strength. Lady Arneherne,
You have my sincere thanks for such industry in scribing! My interest in the Cause Critical prayer coming from a rather sentimental perspective which I may explain further at another time. By way of introduction to those of the faith, I am by profession a ritualist and demonologist - and if I say so myself somewhat learned in creatures summoned forth from other realms. I first joined the faith when it was guided by Washall - and saw the transitions under Lazarus Long including attending and participating in the binding rituals of the Cathedral. I look forward to the Faith regaining its place of prominence within the dark pantheons. Regards, Relic Relic,

Relic, welcome back, it is good to see you again. I have those robes I owe you.
Barab, I am very pleased you will be joining the church on these up and coming missions, I look forward to receiving your leadership in this. It's been too long since we have been able to chat my friend Serin, worry not about Barab's playful threats of excommunication, Barab means well and is pleased that you are building our church in stature. …Lord Blackheart, with the greatessst of ressspect, you are talking rubbisssh… …I am unsssure which hell you have been resssiding in but I have been extremely active over the last decade or two, fighting alongssside the empire and its alliesss againssst its foesss, most recently foesss sssuch asss the Myronessse, and the forcesss of the Ssspiter, all increasssing the reputation of our church - though not so much on the adventuring trail… …I alsso travelled the far cornersss of Primusss on ssseveral occasionsss to try to gather the faithful to muster, though at those timesss our numbersss were insssufficient to perform the guilded pactsss I sssought… …Truthspeaker Long, it never ceasesss to impressss me the skill with which you wield that sssilver tongue of yoursss, though there was jest in my wordsss… …I will not have a member of my church speak to me like that. If ssshe does it again, I will excommunicate her without hesssitation. If ssshe fails to sssign off any of her missssives as the “Lowly Worm” I have declared her asss, It will be her last wordsss within thessse chambers. It is only due to Jacoby’s wordsss that I have not severed her link with my Church already… …Barab Khan III… …High Priest of the Tryst… |

Barab,
it is not your church, you do not own it, and I can not see a world in which you have the right to claim it as yours. It was passed through priests to arrive at your feet, for you to take care of and develop. Whatever small games you think you have been playing for the last decade has no relevance in the primal world which the church now awakes in. You have sent missives to the far corners of primus? Serin has been on primus in her new form for little under six months and already the sacred halls are alive again. You have always been left you to your own devices, myself and the rest of the council are very unlikely to agree with any rash decisions you make towards Serin. It is with great authority I tell you any attempt will fail. You have the power to request it, you do not have the power to make it so. The council alone has that power, and will not act against a member of the faith for a few true words uttered in these halls. Respect is earned not given. I suggest you find a way to make the church work as one so it can move into a new era of existence, I do not intend to bother myself with the petty arguments of mortals again. The next time I find myself doing it I will be tearing souls from bodies. You we're given the position of high priest now start to show you are worthy of it. Assemble the church to muster, work as one, lead as Aramis believed you could, with strength, intelligence and courage. Lady Arneherne the council thanks you for your service upon primus and bestowes on you the title of voice of the imbaiu. Lord Jasiah Blackheart Imbaiu master and chair of the council |
