Greetings Brothers

Myself and two more of the faith have suddenly found ourselves beyond the safety and seclusion of the Monastery and in the ever raging war against evil.

We seek guidance, as for reasons too complicated to impart here, we left without clear mandate from our superiors and so find ourselves seeking a better understanding of the greater Church to which we belong.

Our faith in St Michael sustained us during our first encounter with the forces of evil, but we realise the Church offers guidance, experience and the Tennets to which we must apply ourselves.

I humbly submit myself to the Church.

OOC – Hi guys, I’m one of three new, noob warrior priests having just started this weekend.

We have picked St Michael as our deity, and had a blast being knights of knightly niceness, however I figured we should probably find out a bit about the Church and expectations/requirements of belonging to it before our next outing.

I’ve checked the download guidance on the church which is very cool and gives us a clear idea of how to roleplay the faith.

I was wondering if we need to formally present ourselves IC or ‘Sign up’ to be considered part of the Church?
Any guidance on how we should approach joining/being in the church would be greatly appreciated.

I am Vox, we met briefly I believe before you began your journey. If you have step out into the world once more I will be willing to help as I can.

Each of us bears testament to Michael and the Creator in our own ways, my ways are quite strict in the belief that evil must be firmly opposed and, if neccessarily, violently stopped. Not all are as I and indeed as Michael has taken on different guises in his life so may his priests take on different natures.

I feel hurt that you have not included me!

Lucius, I have felt your warmth from the moment you accepted Michael to you, as I do with all the faithful, you will be sure that I watch over you and your brothers as you sleep.

If you require anything feel free to enter in to prayer and I will come to you, I do not reside at the rest due to my previous dealings with some mortal folk who do not share my somewhat focussed views.

As Vox says, each of us bears testament in their own ways, I for instance offer those who think they can slay our kindred with impunity, the chance to meet their respective makers swiftly and permanently.
