QUOTE A group of experienced mercenaries were hurriedly contacted and enlisted by the inquisition last week to undergo a number of tasks.
Whilst Inquisitional representatives were reluctant to reveal details of exactly what went on, we of The Primal Times ™ have deduced that they transported themselves around the Empire, and beyond, dealing with a number of serious threats, and report here, in the fight for transparency, what we uncovered. Far Southern Sellaville territories In a twist, the recently reported sightings of various suits of animate armour and slim pale individuals around the Southern borders of Sellaville turned out to be a vicious band of Silver Folk, probably planning on overturning the Empire. A furious battle with them and their army of animate armour ensued over the weekend, with the cries of battle echoing across the hills and it was reported that the Heroes of the Empire were successful and leader of these nefarious creatures was slain. Tarquin Stoneheart, Councillor of Sellaville, was seen personally touring the local farmlands, left bare of farmers after the disappearance of many locals. If only more of the Cities councillors were prepared to be so hands on! It should be pointed out that there have still been sightings of hooded figures and animate armour in the area, and as such people should avoid travelling to the South Sellaville / Northern Brandins for the present time, for their own safety. No doubt the Mercenaries will return to cleanse the area when some kind official stumps up the pay. Will the Sellaville Council be the ones o do something about this threat in their rural lands? When will the area be safe once more? Who is taking responsibility for the suffering of innocent peons? Only time will tell. A pair of prisoners were also seen to be rescued, who in turn were able to rescue many more peons captured from the local rural lands from an unattended cave further along the mountain range used to keep them. Valuable individuals to bring stability back to the region. The whole precession made their way back to Sellaville, keen to tell their tales of how they were saved by the famous Bartimaeus the Brave, Tai the Legend from Legend, Tarquin Stoneheart their local Councilor, Brother Tidas the unstoppable, the fair Lady Serin of the Tryst, and the less famous but jolly courageous (just for being there) Orifin the blue. These names are being spoken of with raised glasses in taverns across the city, and quite rightly so. -------------------- Will Power - will@labyrinthe.co.uk
