Does Incarna Mortis make you immune to jade/onyx for the duration?
Cheers, Mark No, it gives you undead immunities to miracles. Lee |

Hey Lee,
Some questions about sights: Does 4th level Vessel or the Dragons make you immune to undead spirit sight (no fleshy eyes) Does the 7 winds make you immune to elemental sight? My inclination would be no but I’m told otherwise Thanks Jack No, you still have a spirit at lvl 4 vessel. And Elemental sight doesn't target you. How much ISP is Forearm Parry now? 16 or 25.
ISP book (which I believe is from 2012) says 25, but you have a forum post in 2014 clarifying it to 16. Thanks Jack 25, isp book is from about 2015. Hi Lee
As an elf with 3 vs TOD, 2 vs. spiritual mantics and 1/2 black, if struck with a mantic TOD (black mana), what would I take? 3 vs TOD takes to a 12/12 cause serious 1/2 black might take to 6/6 2 vs spiritual mantics might then take to 2/2 Thanks David you are correct. Lee |

Does a weapon have to be sharp *or* blunt, or is it possible to be both?
E.g. a maul as a double headed weapon, an axe on one side and hammer on another E.g. a spear - I've had some refs say it is only meant to be used for the pointy end only, so can't do blunt on the shaft end Thanks for clarifying Dave If its a safe phys rep then yes it can be both, it's been done with spears for eyars Lee |

Going back into days-of-old, butt-striking with a spear was only allowed if your spear had extra collars at the bottom like a macehead or a studded/spiked maul. It's much like striking with the 'flat' of a latex sword's blade; plain spearhafts are not sufficiently padded to class as a striking surface, please don't do it. You get a lot of inertia on pole weapons, I've seen people at fest events literally concussed by players with thin, long staffs. Plain spearhafts are not a safe physrep for striking. Simon. |

Settle a lunchtime discussion for us.
Let's say I have the first grade of strength from the tables, +1 Strength (max +2) from KOTL and +1 Strength (max +3) from Titan. Does this stack to 3, or does the max+2 in the middle prevent that? 3, titan is the last one. Lee |

Dear Lee
Can you clarify please If one person has a pure weapon and the other has an entirely physical one, can they parry each other? (Game logic vs it being rubbish to play out in practice) system logic says no, but let's just have cool fights. We can easily justify it if we think about it (I mean who in sort of real life can be battered with a sword 200 times). Shields and armour are different and don't work. As I have said many times. A little commen sense and letting the game work goes a long way. So using you example fighting bst sword to but sword is one thing, bst pure sword vs physical staff and sword is just no. Hey Lee!
Simple one this time - can a warlock blink away from a wraith they cannot hurt, similarly can they wall off an encounter so they can walk past it and not do it? Personally I think the answer is no and wouldn't as my warlock, but others have differing opinions. Cheers, Mark Warlock can now cast spells for a combat advantage. Blinking away from a fight is ok. Walling off dominated people is equally fine, as is wall of stone to split up monsters. Wall of stone to avoid fighting a hard thing is within the rules. Lee |

[/i] Julian So full cards on the table pure priests can use their pure weapons to parry physical weapons now… Wow… Clearly no, I said be cool with it. If you are fighting and happen to parry as part of the natural cool fight that's one thing. if you just back step and wave your pure sword around to block a purely physical weapon that is just being rubbish, especially if they are immune to your pure weapon. Assuming both people are effecting each other and fight in a cool way and blows get parried that's ok, otherwise you may as well stand next to each other and hit each other as fast as you can until one of you dies. If you start abusing it then you are cheating. Lee |
