Queenie, glad to learn that you managed to make space for us again !

Of course folks who have helped us in the past would be more than welcomed on our adventures, I only feel sorry for them in that they will struggle to win any drinking competitions on the night of celebration and I will ask the bar keep to put asside some of the weaker ale for them and perhaps... some.... /screws face up.... wine !

Perhaps, when they have time, they could introduce themselves...

I can confirm that we now have two full parties keen to engage with and deal with the issues ahead suggested by the Allfather which is an incredible feat as it normally takes us years to come to any firm conclusions about anything let alone gather in mass groups...

While I suspect the road will be bumpy, we have a veritable dwarf army at hand the likes of which the world has never seen before - I have checked my records and there certainly doesnt appear to be so many dwarfs amased like this in one spot for many a year... I am quite touched.... /blows nose and grumbles about dust making his eyes water

In the meantime, I shall continue to ministrate locally in the Brandins and pray for your continued good health and ongoing success in your endeavours

Dagda

OOC The two parties for this event are now full - there are still plenty of spaces on the IC Forum - please email Duncan if you intend to come. The up to date list of Earthsunder guild items and perks may be seen here (please note that ALL Earthsunder Guild members will be able to BB two Warrior Traditions, namely Adventurer AND Priviledged regardless of your chosen occupation as per pages 32 & 35 of En-Garde. There is a financial cost to Adventurer though in that you will only be entitled to half pay - so the choice is yours...)

Hello I'm Pebble (or Joron),

I use to be a court mage of Almascar and helped Ashalan build the Hearthlending. Was hoping to be able to travel with you, but if I'm too busy the best I can do is come drink wine with you! :-)

Thanks.

Sorry for being late to the introductions. Word must've struggled to get to the Baronies.

I would be honoured to fight along side all of you once again, its the least I could do after the hard effort the dwarves have been putting in to help myself, slinky and many others with getting rid of another threat to primus.

In regards for the celebration, no need to feel sorry, it's difficult to loose these things when you aren't of flesh and blood.
It'll be nice to see people relaxed and not under threat for once.

I look forward to meeting you all again.

Regards,

Æther

Ah yes Dagda,

This huge gathering of dwarves has lifted my heart from the depths of darkness of all the things I
saw a year or so passed, i thought to hide away from it all trying to avoid it, but your faith and
efforts I could not ignore, and so I venture to you for the first time since the dark age, as we
dwarves of Al-Macsar now call it.
This indeed is one of the largest gatherings of Dwarves within the mercenary community I have
ever seen, what a wonder, and what a fabulous thing to behold.

I look forward to meeting you all, and I will try and speak with you all, perhaps i can relate some old tales
of Al-Macsar, its huge history, and those little unknown things about the place.

Now I must return to laying out my next plan to avoid my most tenacious of bodyguards, but dont worry,
i have various sneaky ways of doing it, that some old friends had great fun teaching me.

I sincerely hope many court members will join us in the evening, I will send out a missive to them, to let them know they are welcome

See you soon
Gerehax

OOC

Greetings one and all, as you may have already seen it is with great regret that I must announce the IC Forum for this event is now cancelled due to a double booking at the caves. So sorry about this, we did check beforehand but this is now the position we find ourselves in. A new date for the IC Forum is now pencilled in for the 13th April so please make a note of this as it would be great to see you.

Additionally, while we now have two booked up parties and a reserve list we are now also without a Master Ref for the two dwarf themed dungeons (which I had hoped to link) so if anybody is happy to step up so to Ref this so that something can still go ahead then please let me know. The alternative is that this event is now cancelled in its entirety and rebooked to the IC Forum with nothing going ahead on the 23rd March.

Once again, apologies - hopefully the event in April will be without incident blush.gif

OOC - Earthsunder tabards are being made by Ed and they will hopefully be available for purchase on the day should you wish to keep them (most likely around £30 should you be happy to make a contribution to the Jack Cotter charity otherwise they will be £20 which is what they cost me). So far I have asked for 12 and one banner. They will be a brown base, silver or equivalent trim down the sides with a black hammer over a broken mountain (jagged crack down the middle). No hoods or shoulders. You don't have to buy them, but I will not always be around to dish them out should you wish to play your character on another day.

The Soulforger ones, should you wish to show that you are a dwarf priest may also be available however Tim and Mark are still deliberating the design of these... updates to follow in due course...

Yes please - may I reserve one?

Plus a soul forger one if they appear (1 of each). Funds available

Thanks

David

To clarify, the double booking was not on the Labyrinthe side, it was the cafe side.

What I want to run involves the day followed by the forum, so I am hoping you will all be ok moving to the 13th so we can go with the original plan!

Personally, I would rather still have the game on the 23rd March, as I don’t know if I can commit to April and beyond. Appreciate that requires a ref though! smile.gif

Other options could include forum in the Tavern (but I guess people want to IC drink?)
Changing to a triple length? And pub after?
Keep as is and pub after?

--------------------
The Place Spirit of Season's Winding - Immortal Seasonal Place Spirit
Gavalar Earthsunder - Ancestral Channeller (more likely a level 3 type unknown...)
Alistair Flashblade - Armoured Priest of the Balance
Adleheim - Circle Psi-Master
Loads of others who never get past 250...

Hi Will.

Is the underground room used for Magic on Fridays also booked?

If it's available we could "tavern it up"?

I'm also free on the 13th of April to either monster or play as a "hanger on" as Gerald.

Tim.

Can we use the upstairs cafe then?

Or is it all booked?

I think given our numbers having another function who will be coming up and down that might be challenging

Given there are 2 full parties and far fewer people going to the forum, I would suggest we don't impact the larger group for the smaller event and leave it as is. I can't make the April dates so would vote to leave on the 23rd
Thanks

I am definitely part of team keep the event running anyway. Like Edd, I have the original weekend off and don't know whether the new date would work. I also agree with David and think disrupting two full parties of people for the forum isn't brilliant. Having to drop the forum is far from ideal, but dropping everything seems a waste.

Is there a nearby alternative to the cafe that we can use for the forum?

I see there is a space on the 3k. :-)

I'd love to play Gerald as a Hanger-on but could book off to monster if needed? (If there's no space I can monster in any case.)
