Got part way through writing a shock based multiclass last night and thought that it would double up as an amusing Friday thread. Each level so far has a "shocking" pun as the title of the ability, so far I have:

Shock around the clock - regening shock innates

One shock wonder - For innate blows of damage grade plus shock

Once you shock you can't stop - for chain cast shocks

I already have an ability called "shock and roll" but otherwise over to you, am expecting good thrings from Tim T when he sees this thread.

After talking about the wonders of the shock spell those listen each receive an innate shock, must be used in the next hour

"Shock hammer time"
As per hammer of might, but each blow has a shock on it instead of the brown mana damage

"Shock in the name of love"
Is healed, not harmed by the next shock (must be cast, can't be a free one etc.)

I'll keep thinking.

As with all the best concepts you should turn to Operetta.

"To sit in Solemn Silence ... " - Consume Vitae gains a Silence

"In a pestilential prison ..." - The disease effect from consume vitae is permanant if you don't have any.

"Awaiting the sensation ..." (of a short, sharp shock) - Increased effect of Shock vs people you've consume vitae'd

"From a cheap and chippy shocker..." - Mana reduction vs people you've consumed vitae'd

"The shock that keeps on shocking" / "flaming shock". Location shocked receives another shock every minute until (either 5 mins, no time limit dispel only, etc)

"Shock and awe" one shock is enhanced at time of casting to inflict triple damage + cause fear (emotion attack, immunity to fire grants immunity)

"Shock jock" after 30s shouting right wing, small town propaganda then all present receive a shock to their head (ears)

"Shock putt" as flaming cache with all in 10' receiving a shock to their chest

"System shock" may administer a shock to the chest of a recently (less than 2 mins) dead flesh and blood character who has died from physical/ magical means, and this resuscitates them back to 7/1. They never died.


But just remember, sometimes a loaded pun can go off.
