Hey,
Druid ability chosen field says it reduces EP cost by 1 but doesn't say there is a minimum. Does this mean that it can reduce the cost to 0? Thanks Chris Always minimum 1 unless it says otherwise. Lee |

Hi Lee,
If an elf takes 'mortal body' and then MR High Elf (or brought mortal body after MR high Elf) do they regain their original flesh and blood immunity? Thanks No, as it is an "elven race" Immortal or one of the other immunity to flesh and blood ones then yes they'd become immune. Lee |

It says ratfolk can now be amlesian but do not benefit from breed or clan, However thier breed determines what classes they could be, So without that, what classes can Amles ratfolk be?? i am presuming any of those avaialable to all breeds.
Thanks Yep. Just they don't get anything for it really. Lee |

Hi,
How do Neuronic classes work with regard to cold rages, specifically, if a PSI-Master takes a cold rage as his 7th or 8th warrior specialist does using the rage bar him from neuronics for 5mins in a similar way to fear and other emotion causing effects? How is this impacted, if at all, by the tier 1 ability 'Emotionless' ? Thanks. Carl Cold raging is an emotion thing, so would stop neuronics. Lee -------------------- Carl

Couple of clarifications please Lee
If I'm hitting a tree whilst doing quad with a flaming axe am I doing the equivalent of a 12 or a 16? Trying to understand how these things stack. Depends on the tree, but standard ones you can live large and do sixteen A fairy cannot normally benefit from strength, in the case of adrenal surge I assume you gain all the benefits aside from the stacking strength, therefore if you have enough weapon masteries to fill the extra damage grade can you still call quin or is the +1 max damage strength based? Its a buy as restriction, so they can't buy + 1 strength. However you can get it from the adrenal surge. Lee -------------------- "A soldier's first battlefield is always his own mind"

Does someone casting dispel on a bind that a black tiger monk is stuck in, break said black tigers restrictions?
I think it depends but probably yes. Where is is ok. I cast bind on black tiger monk when he tries to rage into the party. Rage ends and he says get rid of this or I kill you. Monster binds black tiger monk and i dispel it so he doesn't get beaten to death. Lee -------------------- QUOTE(Jack) Only the good die young. Hihi
I've taken a path to 6th by buying 6th Wizard. Can I do a non standard 7/8 (let's say I don't want the makes but something else etc) or am I stuck with the standard 7/8? you can but won't get much of a discount for dropping stuff if any Secondly if I can do a non standard 7/8th that then buys as wizard can I buy 4 first class wiz abilities or is this just a bonus for standard 7/8 multiclasses? if you write it in. Lastly, if a person is a vessel of the dead MR, can they only be twist the formed if they are willing. IE could an evil priest just summon a zombie into them even if they didn't want it? no because of how twist the form is worded. Cheers Ben |

If an elven scout takes vessel of the dragons does that prevent him from using physical scout skills like assisted climb, salmon leap and physical chameleon?
What about using physical discerns? Can he still make lembas? Can he still make other potions if he had the ability? No he wouldn't. I know it seems a bit odd but they are more "Can do" abilities rather than powerbase. Just like a knock back might be a physical ability, but if you use a magic sword to hit said elf he is still effected by it. Lee |

If a scout subclass multiclasses pathfinder, can they choose a skill that they previously had with their subclass, and thus gain more innates?
I am assuming the levels wouldnt stack but for example would the scout subclass who already had 2 jump inates from Athlete, then multiclass as Pathfinder and select Athlete as a skill, gaining an extra jump innate per 3 levels (or fraction of) of the multiclass? I'm trying to see the benefit of multiclassing as pathfinder when it seems far more beneficial to simple by additional skills post 8th at 20 points a pop. No they can't. But they can get new level based skills they don't have. They also have the advantage that where a skill has a prerequisite (so discern and make healing) they can buy discern healing with points, and then take make healing as a pathfinder skill as it requires skill levels. Yes this is intended and is a benefit of using a multi-class slot to do it. Lee -------------------- - Matt

Been looking at Alfar and throughout the description it mentions them being tribal a lot but then it doesn't say they are tribal in there rules, are they tribal or not?
Not tribal, but there should be a 0 point ability of "Is tribal" it got missed when the books were redone. It will be back in the next version Lee |

Next silly question,
If I am half effect magic say from dward or 3rd wind I am hit by a spell that has a lesser effect if you are 1/2 effect say gravity well (lessened by 1/2 effect brown) being 1/2 effect to magic am I therefore 1/2 effect brown or would you need 1/2 effect brown as well? Dwarf is 1/2 effect magic full stop, so yes 1/2's a gravity well. The Wind is just 1/2 damage magic, so wouldn't have any effect on a gravity well. Lee |

Please confirm the current rules on multiclass slots - specifically, I have bought the first 5 levels of a MC but L6 is on a table I am yet to reach. Can I start a new MC while I build up the points total to buy L6 of the first one?
(They are both non-standard if that matters) Thanks David all non-standards are see me, but in the case above likely to be no you have to wait. Lee |

Looking to better understand gravity well as I've heard a number of different things.
1) Do grades of strength have any effect? No 2) Can you move about on your knees? Yes 3) Do you lose abilities that require being able to move freely (Forearm Parry, Celerity etc) or just your DaC? Yes 4) How does having 1/2 effect brown effect the spell in respect of number 4 above? You can move freely when you have 1/2 effect. You just still lose the DAC and it is not a dex drain Thanks for the clarification. -------------------- "A soldier's first battlefield is always his own mind"

If you have a rebirth that gives a free multiclass 1 level per table, can you take other multiclasses before reaching 8th?
Thanks, Peter Yes, unless it specifically says otherwise. Lee -------------------- Peter Smith

Hello again, sorry if this is written down somewhere.
If I have an item of 50% beserk rage 1/day - it says no other text than that, what should I assume that i cannot do during that? all of the following are for standard tables versions of the abilities 1. Can I tell friend from foe? 2. Can I use FAP/FLP/UAP 3. Can I use counter/contras? 4. Can i cast spells? miracles? 5. Can i back out of a combat? 6. Do I need to be afraid of magic? 7. Can i use items? Does the powerbase of the item affect this? sorry lots of questions, should i just assume i'm like a beserker? thanks Richard You assume correct that it is as berserker so: 1= Any one hostile is fair game. 2= yes 3 = yes 4 = no 5 = no 6= no that is a berserker restriction not a rage restriction. 7= depends on the item, but you can't cast. Hi,
Where a druid has created a loner list is he standardly able to change this list? The table 0 ability 'Acceptance' is almost what is required, but aimed at dropping a loner list and joining a named conclave. As a loner list is an alternative to an named conclave can this be used, or is it a 1 liner app. Thanks, Carl Acceptance is what you need, it's table 1 and 20 points, or founder maybe. Hey.
When creating a Druid from scratch what evocations are available BEFORE you buy 'Chosen'. If its just the standard evocations do you loose the ones that do not appear in the list you have chosen after 'Chosen' Thanks - Pace Sorry not sure I understand what you mean. Basically druids can cast/learn loads of stuff. To learn evocation above a certain level they either need to be standard ones or in their chosen field. Beyond that have fun. If you buy abilities with restrictions they kick in. Lee |
