I am not sue why you would want me, I have no idea who to run something Like the Knights (its difficult enough to herd sheep let alone people and posh people at that) I just do what is right for the people of primus. But if people really want me I will stand.

I'd like to thank those that have spoken kindly and nominated me, I consider it an honour to be mentioned amongst so many brothers I hold in high esteem.
I believe I still have some personal growth to come; and against the backdrop of so many great candidates already confirmed to stand I'm sure my fellow Knights will not be short of options. I therefore decline my nomination to stand. Sincerely, Ritz -------------------- Stevie Harper

Less than a week to go, and a few yet to confirm whether they will indeed stand or not. All details on the original notice.

Although I've seen more than one name mentioned already who I'd happily vote for, I'm tradition- if not honour-bound to nominate Gimly. He will accept, produce the same speech as for the last many years, we will both vote for someone else, and the grand tradition of demockery can continue for another year, which is all as it should be. People will think about who they want to lead them, what they want us to be as an organisation, and be able to play a role in bringing that about. It's a grand system, so. Anyway, I nominate Gimly. He won't thank me. Tavis I won't, but I will keep my promise and accept Tavis and Nev's nominations and will stand for Lord Knight Gimly -------------------- Rich

Last day for Tai and Lord Jasiah to confirm if they will stand. Or for any final nominations. The current status is all up to date on the original posting.
Votes open tomorrow, votes can then be sent to... (( LKelection2022@gmail.com )) Hoping there will be a box for in person votes at Mordreds rest too soon, but will leave that to the Lord Knight to confirm. And all being well, the Lord Knight will be announced on our traditional gathering early next year. Again the Lord Knight will confirm these details as and when, after which I will confirm the end date for the votes to be counted. A reminder for any that are new to the process, that after today the candidates will all answer any questions raised by their fellow knights over the coming weeks, to help people decide who to vote for. There is plenty of time to cast your vote, so unless your mind cannot be swayed you may wish to wait to see these answers. For a vote to be valid, it must have all your identifying information*, whether sent by elemental or placed in the box at Mordreds Rest. Sirac Drakeson, Voice of the Knights * ((Player name, character name, who you are voting for. No more than one vote per player)) |

I would like to thank Apathy and my old friend (time of friendship not the man) Thorn for their nomination. I am honoured by your show in faith in my leadership. However I took semi-retirement from the mercenary life some years ago whilst my experience might stand me well to lead the Knights I strongly suspect a Knight who is active a lot more than I would make a better leader for our order.
We have four candidates, and that is more than enough to ensure democracy, and provide an interesting vote and I shall look forward to the questions and answers that come next. Good luck to those who are standing. Jez |
