MONSTER POINTS To benefit from monstering points you must have a membership card from the Desk, as this is the mechanism that is used for recording monstering points. These cards, like character cards, have a slot for 'current points' and a 'points spent' section. Points will only be signed on by Desk staff at the end of a day’s monstering. Only Desk staff signatures are valid on these cards. Desk staff will also be responsible for signing whatever benefits you wish to spend your earned points on. 10 points are earned for each section monstered. 10 bonus points are earned for monstering an entire day. 10 bonus points are earned for booking to monster by Wednesday that week. If people book then fail to turn up, they may not be allowed to book in advance to monster again, at the desks discretion. All monster points are earnd entirely at the desks discretion. 5 points can be exchanged for: 500 Grulls - in this case the player is issued with 500grulls. 5 points for an 8th level character only when you are in costume and ready to play on the day of play. Characters under 75pts may add at most 75pts per days play. Characters under 1000pts may add at most 25pts per days play. Characters under 3000pts may add at most 50pts per days play. Characters over 3000pts may add at most 75pts per days play. Monstering points can also be exchanged for supernatural items for any one of your characters. Handbook Spell 5th – 6th Level 10pts+ 10/mana point Handbook Miracle 4th – 5th Level 20pts + 10/spirit point Stamina 3 +6/2 life 60points Stamina 4 +9/3 life 90points DAC* +1 DAC 60points PAC* +1 PAC 40points SAC* +1 SAC 80points MAC* +1 MAC 100points Well Warded Item does not blow up on death [still has an end date] X2 the total cost Non-Standard Change See note below Special These monster point items are created at the Desk Staffs discretion and may be "toned down" if they feel that the item is excessive or likely to be unbalancing at the level of adventure playable by that character. Non-Standard Class-Race combination – This allows for a mixture of classes and races not normally permitted – This reward may only be acquired via the GSM – and is subject to moderation and common sense – for example an Elven Power Warrior would be possible, an Elven Warrior Priest would not. The card is issued at 1st level, and requires an ability application sheet to be submitted as per normal non-standard points applications – such that special notes and life scales can be appointed and recorded, typically 75 monster points – Each item so 'bought' must have a phys rep and these phys reps may not have any use other than be ornamental. E.G. may not be weapons, armour, potion bottles et cetera. All items so acquired will have a 'blow-up' date as normal, their powers fading with time. These points are deemed to be rewards for your character's activities in downtime. Perhaps studying, or working in casual employment - it is up to you to justify how your character has earned the points, or acquired the artefacts. *These items do not stack with AC from other items, as is normal for item AC. -------------------- Damn I love muggles
