Hello,
So a few updates to keep you in happy world. 1) Thanks for answers on the questions as I mentioned I have saved them. I am hoping to put up a few new ones over the weekend for people to have a look at. 2) Points apps and CC's. Despite Greenaways best efforts I have not been beaten yet. The rate they are coming in is about right, so don't try and up it or people will just be disappointed. 3) As a reminder tomorrow is dead line for this quarter WP spends. And some other bits: Guilds and WP's etc. Since we got luck and only lost a weekend of Q1 I've let everything run as normal. However I am, after i get the last few debrief sheets from Duncan, freezing guild blow up dates as if it were 31st March. So if a guild lost tiers/blew up then it did. However every guild that still exists will get some sort of an extension based on the lock down. No idea how long, but at least 3 months. Since dungeons aren't happening it's not entirely fair to let completed CC's to keep effecting the world in Q2. I'm not exactly certain what to do, but I'm sure I'll come up with something fun and let people use their contracts and other people get involved somehow. We'll also be looking at item blow up dates and the like at some point as well. And some general bits (I may of mentioned these recently but so they are all in one place): Saving ISP - If you, as a ref, want to save ISP dungeon to dungeon you need to agree it with myself or Duncan in advance. Normally this will only be for guild specials. On mini-campaigns where the items are set but the party don't reach them, and intend to go finish the section it will probably be ok. For normal item dungeons its likely to be a no. Character Cross over - I know it sometimes gets tricky but please try and avoid character cross over on things. If you have a character involved, and another character would also clearly be involved try and tag along with someone else as the second character so they can do the leading. Variable points - Thanks to the sterling work of Sarah (AKA Callum) the debrief sheets are going rapidly into the database. This will allow me to run some checks to find out which refs always give maximum points to every player. I realised that I have been where I work for almost 5 years, and GSM for almost 6 years now. Add to that the current version of the rule books are 4 years old in May. If you never have read the GSM logs now isn't a bad chance to go back and have a laugh at "Him". I had a quick look through and some of the advice in them is still totally relevant to the current system. Lee -------------------- Please send points apps to: pointsapp@labyrinthe.co.uk

echoing above... big thanks Lee for a steady, even hand at the tiller of the system. I love non-standards, but think you have set a great course here with the vibe of work from the standard system AND publishing common non-standards in the last rule book updates. It helps us laggards understand the Fisher-men who cast out to the further and faster-evolving parts of the system!
Keep it up. Though I really feel with this Pep plot that the power of the GSM shines through... but I never thought it’d go this far. (Life echoes fantasy...?) Alasdair |

We have a new leader, I'll let them name themselves when I say:
Putting 8/9 spells on one sheet doesn't mean its one sheet. Spells/miracles are 2-3 per sheet. Lee -------------------- Please send points apps to: pointsapp@labyrinthe.co.uk

An update for you all.
Am a bit behind because my laptop tried to implode last week, all fixed now though. Have had a bit of a busy work run, and doing real life over weekend. I'll answer questions tomorrow (hopefully) and do another print run. Also please try and use the correct emails, and only send things to the right one. Don't CC in others as it just clogs my in box. So if you have been involved in the Secret Santa apps plan (nothing to do with me) can you please make sure when you send Money to Duncan you tell him whose account it should go on for charging the app to. An email is probably best.
I am getting too many apps in to keep a list and send it over to him while trying to do real work as well. Sorry Lee -------------------- Please send points apps to: pointsapp@labyrinthe.co.uk

I think we just decided that the people in it are writing one and receiving one, so it just works better to pay for your own.

I’ll add to this,
I haven’t seen them yet but I’m hoping on the actual points app it says secret Santa app. I can see this turning into an admin nightmare already. Whilst I love the idea and it’s cool and community spirited I’m already haveing to try and keep a list of player A submitted and paid for player B. And whilst the points app is for player B it’s to go back to player A. If the points app for player B doesn’t have on it secret Santa return to player A I can tell you know this will fall to bits Sorry to be a pain Duncan |

Yeah everyone that’s getting one also wrote one so I envisage you pay for what has your name on it, keep the admin down 😊

So up to last Wednesday done except a couple, and most CC's done as well (horay!).
I'm doing another print run today. As reminders: Please only send the email to one address. If you send it to two addresses due to the volume there is a reasonable chance it will get processed twice, meaning you'll have to pay for it twice. Please use the correct emails. Pointsapp@ for apps and CC's, lee@ for questions. For some reason after my computer meltdown I am having trouble opening jpgs from emails. So if you are Jez or Dave and have questions based on attached pictures sorry about the delay. Its on my to do list this week. And CC's are still taking a bit longer than apps because I need to print them. Finally remember myself and Duncan do have real jobs still so are working Monday to Friday so can't just reply instantly to things. If anyone can help the problem is below. I am using Windows 10 and Office 365. My laptop decided to hate me last week so I had to reinstall windows 10 and everything else (so its somehting to do with this).
When I try and open a jpg (or png) file I get the "Do you want to open this with" box. I have tried Windows Photo viewer and Lenovo Photo viewer (both worked previously). I click the always use this app to open files. All it does it re-open the question box again. Jpegs I have download off Whatsapp work fine. To fix it I have tried: Set default program for file types. Going into the Edit registry to check the key settings. Updated all my drivers. Alas nothing has fixed it yet. So if anyone has any ideas then please let me know. I avoided that as getting decent laptops at a reasonable price is tricky at the minute, all have a long delivery time.
