Labyrinthe Forum _ General In-Character Chat _ Tuesday Club Brief

Well met.

My name is Garl Stonebank, innkeep of the Hale and Hearty tavern. Three nights ago, my daughter Alyssa left home with her belongings and has not yet returned. I fear for her safety. It is my belief that she has absconded with her lover Edin Windrush. I have no choice but to turn to the mercenary community as our militia here in Willowvale are taxed with recent events and cannot commit to the search. I ask of you, if you could find my daughter and return her home safely, I would be in your debt. Please visit the Hale and Hearty and we can speak further. I can offer bread and board, as well as the sum of fifteen hundred grulls for your troubles. You can find Willowvale in the outskirts of Gothiel, a day's ride east from the city.

My thanks,
Garl Stonebank.

I have business in Gothiel the day before and so will be more than happy to see what assistance I can provide.

I hope we can swiftly return your daughter to the embrace of her family.

So she wasn't taken, she just left with her stuff?
Do you have a hiring licence for mercenaries to kidnap your daughter? Or presumably a reason to believe she went against her will? Where is the nearest city to fair Willowvale?

Mr Big Nose

If she left without her father's permission, one might assume she also left without her Lord's permission - we should check. Given it isn't her naming day, a point in her life when she is free to move, she breaks the rules between Parvus and Regnant (assuming neither marriage or childbirth apply either and she has left the Regnant's lands) and thus her father has every right to collect her back to bring before the Lord for judgement. Judgement, I trust, in this case will be a gentle reminder of the Great Freedom and a need to seek permission prior to running off
