So Julian has agreed in principle to run us another Unity outing - August is better for him than September.

What are people's diaries like? I think 9, 15, 16, 23 and 29 are good for me, but I may well have forgotten something smile.gif

Of those dates I would prefer the 15th, but could probably manage any of them except the 9th. Am v keen as this one was a lot of fun.

As a potential guest I am obviously of lesser importance, but I can't do the 9th or the 29th, for what it is worth.

Matt

Posted by: ethuil Apr 30 2015, 07:25 PM

I would love to do another; I can't do the 15th but am otherwise free on those dates.

Posted by: dnsmantra Apr 30 2015, 11:09 PM

29th is good, 9th is good if the 7-day myths doesn't happen. 15/16/23 are out for me, but if better for others all good; I'm just a tag along anyway.

Adding to the guest collection, I would love to do another one and am free all those dates currently, might try and work something to be at a similar level to the rest of the party and avoid the Wrath of Swine smile.gif

Got it -

KODR - the time ritualists revenge...

The time ritualists have finally got their revenge on Gimmers transporting him unknowingly to various points in his mercenary career to make him more susceptible and therefore kill able!!!

Starts each dungeon with his exact spend but only to 66% of the Max

I.e he books on a real mans no max plays his spend as written

Books on a 10k he has to play his 6666 point spend!

DOOO ITT!!!

I have something very similar already.... MCC passed it, Phil then said no when I went to buy it, will discuss with Lee at some point smile.gif

Good plan.

Do any of those dates not work / work better for you, Julian?

Currently can do all of those dates

Julian

Currently looking at it 15th works best for me - can't see anything else at the caves that day either and importantly I don't think Son of is reffing so might actually get to play. Means we lose Huw and Rebecca which is a shame though sad.gif

OK I've now emailed the booking line to book this, we just need to sort an overland site now....

C

Posted by: Christine Jun 9 2015, 04:01 PM

This is now booked for 15th August, please book on!

And we still need to find a picnic site smile.gif

C

Posted by: ethuil Jun 9 2015, 04:48 PM

I am abandoning the game I'm meant to be on to play this instead smile.gif

Posted by: OxMatt Jun 9 2015, 06:02 PM

Booked, innit.

Posted by: Christine Jun 9 2015, 06:13 PM

Great stuff, and the excellent Ryan has offered to come and read us his slightly risque fiction again smile.gif If that doesn't attract players, I don't know what will...

C

Posted by: RichFromant Jun 9 2015, 06:17 PM

Am booked as well as some sort of time travelling flexi spend version smile.gif

Posted by: Christine Jul 22 2015, 10:40 AM

Hiya

Looking good for this, we have a new nearby overland site (details to follow when someone smarter than me links them).

I haven't yet been asked for any guest slots for this, although I'm happy for the people who played the last one to play as those characters (assuming the ref is likewise ok with that).

C

Posted by: RichFromant Jul 22 2015, 10:48 AM

The site is Roverdene Scout Camp, just the other side of Caterham, so about 45 minutes from caves. 1.5 acre field, 6 acres of woodland, couple of shelters/huts and modern toilets. Looks great! So cheers to Duncan and Sam for sorting!

Details here: http://www.surreyyouthfocus.org.uk/resource-directory/roverdene-scout-campsite-caterham-scouts

Yep - happy with any of those (which I believe are Tai, Ignatius & Penny)

And me as a mini Gimly - I will basically be similar points to the other warriors (currently Tai and Ignatious??) on the dungeon with usual armour based spend

Posted by: Christine Jul 22 2015, 11:01 AM

The site looks great, big thanks to Duncan and Sam for finding it. I am going to suggest the usual BBQ / picnic affair?

C

Posted by: StuartEaston Jul 22 2015, 01:20 PM

I figured I'm basically in the guild by this point, I would buy hanger on but it would give me a restriction about who I can stab in the face and I'm all about the face stabbing.

Stuart

Posted by: OxMatt Jul 22 2015, 03:36 PM

Hanger on is for wimps. I just brazen it out and wait for people to chuck me off dungeon.

With the current rules, Hanger On is broadly redundant (because if you don't have enough members you still get a guild themed adv). This is lucky, of course, because you can't buy Hanger On for a church, or Lay Believer if you are already in a church.

Really looking forward to this, especially as new site smile.gif

So lift from the nearest station, when someone smarter than I works out which one?

Posted by: ethuil Jul 22 2015, 05:26 PM

I'm too emo to buy lay believer.

This sentence also works if you remove everything after 'emo'.

Posted by: ZoeMercer Jul 28 2015, 04:00 PM

Hi all,

I have booked onto this. (You can blame Stuart as he told me about it.) I have a 200 ish point past unity Tollum rebirth I can play, but I think I would rather play Grizelda if possible. (I have been allowed on previous dungeons as a hanger on smile.gif )

I am so rusty that it probably won't matter who I am playing tbh.

It will be nice to be at a new site too.

Lemmie know pls so I can dig out the appropriate kit.

Ta lots,

Zoe

Posted by: DanM Jul 28 2015, 06:09 PM

I'm looking to play orc stuff that day if it actually happens

But I'd love to be along as big or little Anthony if it falls through
500pt or 7.5k

Posted by: Jasper Aug 2 2015, 01:19 PM

So we've got;

Me - Scruple
Christine - Tavis
Rich - Gimmers
Rebecca - Penny
Matt - Ubiquitous Loyola
Zoe - Grizelda
Stuart - Tai
Fi - Lizzy
Carlo? - Rimstar?
A N Other? - That Character They Play? Dan maybe? David?

How many of those are Knights of the Land? 4 definites, 2 maybes, 4 nos and 1 unknown? Inquiring Witchdoctors and possibly Shamans Need to Know smile.gif

J

Posted by: Fionamullin Aug 2 2015, 03:13 PM

I'm currently intending to play Lizzy 4kish gold vivomancer.

Posted by: OxMatt Aug 2 2015, 04:50 PM

In the spirit of advanced planning, and because I am on meditation retreat from the 7th to the 14th, can I grab a lift off of someone please?

Matt

Posted by: RichFromant Aug 3 2015, 08:15 AM

Caterham looks like the best station to use for the site, I am happy to pick people up from there.

Posted by: OxMatt Aug 3 2015, 09:47 AM

Bagsy! smile.gif

Matt

Posted by: ZoeMercer Aug 3 2015, 03:44 PM

Hi all. I have permission from Christine and Julian to play Grizelda. /excited.
However, a look at my aging weapons has suggested that they may not be as safe as they used to be 😣.
Does anyone have a staff and a bastard sword that I could borrow please?
I will also need an address for the new site.
Anything else I need to bring?

Grizelda uses a bastard sword these days...? Wow
I don't have a bastard sword but could probably find a broadsword.

Picnic or BBQ things, but we can sort food stuff nearer the time.

Looks like as usual the guests are the front line smile.gif

Grizelda doesn't but her angel/abashi does. 😊 For a little bit at least.

I have a staff that you can borrow, just remind me nearer the time so I remeber to pack it.
