Weekly Update, 19th & 20th October Options

Coming up this weekend we have the Iron & Empire/Fate 2-day at Pinewood scout camp, which means it is fairly quiet at the caves. The 2-day is in desperate need of monsters, so if you are wanting to get your LARP fix this weekend please do consider coming along to crew some of it. It is only 15 minutes away from caves, food and drink will be provided for monsters and can go home to sleep if you wish!

At the caves themselves we have:

Saturday
Avaithar Max 20k – The next installment of Sean’s campaign, there are plenty of details about the plot in the campaign forum for those interested. The event was full with a waiting list, a couple of people have booked off though so email the booking list if interested. It does need a couple more monsters to join the a-ref and 1 booked

Sunday
Max 1500 Top Secret Guild Special – Being reffed by Dave R, and he has one monster although currently no guild members booked! Will need some players to run,


Further Ahead
Next week is a 4 day week of caves dungeons, with Tuesday club happening, which is in need of a ref and this months Thursday dungeon which Miles is reffing, he could do with an a-ref to help give the 9 players a good day and set the 3 monsters


Rumours and Gossip
Lee is working on the October Almanac this week, which should hopefully be out by the end of the month.

Halloween is fast approaching, which the tour site are running fright night tours on the 30th & 31st if anyone fancies being scared in the caves, it also means decent props in the shops! November the 1st is usually the best day for props it as they all get reduced, if you see any bargains the armoury always welcomes donations!

Just to confirm that the dungeons this weekend have been cancelled so the caves is closed both Saturday and Sunday. The 2 day is happening at Pinewood Scout camp and will welcome any extra monsters if people wanted to come along to get the fix of hitting people with rubber sticks!
