[assume this is sent out IC at about noon on Saturday]
I have a small problem. Well, I have lots of problems but most of them can be solved for a few thousand grulls and a spirit bound weapon. Yesterday was the occasion of the annual rites to placate the local fey. Everything went as planned but this morning reports came in that some of the peons from the hamlet of Gohil had gone missing. No-one who was left behind admits to having seen anything but I can only assume they have been taken against their will as one of the Gohil militia was found to have had his life suspended by evil spirits. I've dispatched extra guards to watch over the village but ordinary scrying has failed to reveal the missing people's location (obviously) or the culprit. I'd try the Imperial Seers but I don't really trust them. Very few things make me as angry as people abusing my peons, so if anyone's free I could do with some mercenary help. If I can find my licence, I can even pay. There is a Contractually Mandated Shrine to Shaehan not far from Gohil so I propose meeting there early tomorrow. 'Rus Baron Shadowfell -------------------- No of course I won't ref. Are you mad?

Dear Rus,
It will of course be my pleasure to help you in this matter. I pray for our success and their safe return to the comfort of your guardianship.
