Well it seems all good things come to an end, more to the point when I took the role of Chancellor it was on the understanding that I wished to serve for a fixed term. That time is now up. Like Lady Hylos I believe in fresh blood (magic or otherwise) and new ideas. The Empire is best served by those who are active. My resignation, like the Covenant will take effect on the 6th Deeber, I have been in consultation with the rest of the Senate and the announcement of my replacement will be made public in due course, I wish them well and can say they enjoy my full confidence. To those whom I have travelled with over the years, my thanks for your companionship and to a few, your friendship, maybe I will get out a little more. I will be remaining as Governor of Halgar. It has been a privilege to serve but that term of service is now up.
