Labyrinthe Forum _ Knights of the Land _ Lord Knight IM1017

Posted by: RichFromant Jan 30 2017, 08:37 AM

Knights,

Following a successful election period I am pleased to announce that the winner and new Lord Knight for the coming year is Rufus Kol'trane. I would like to thank Scrupple and Louis for standing and for a well fought campaign.

Unfortunately, as the results were due to be announced yesterday we were attacked by a group of followers of the Magpie who stole Resolution and the Bandanna from the Knight's Stores. They also attacked the Halgar Museum, stealing a number of objects to empower themselves with. After a dangerous day investigating and making safe the museum we were able to successfully retrieve the stolen objects and defeat the magpie lord.

I am sad to announce that during the day Rufus fell for the final time in his current form. Imrazil empowered him to stay with us until the end of the day but he has now been laid to rest alongside our Brothers at Hero's Mound.

Rufus has appointed Andric as his Lord Unity, and the duty falls to Andric to lead the Knights until Rufus returns. I am not aware that Rufus appointed any other Lords of Orders so I recommend that those currently in that position retain it until Rufus does return. If paperwork of Rufus's comes to light revealing his Lords of Orders it will be announced here.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Tai for all his hard work over his tenure as Lord Knight that has seen the knights remain active in the defense of all.

Now free of knights titles...

Congratulations to Rufus - I am certain of his exceptionally swift return - Trouble rarely rests.

My thanks to Tai for his previous years of service as Lord Knight.

Well done to everyone yesterday - it was not an easy task that we undertook.

My thanks to you all... and sorry I could not be there.

Rufus: a unique start to the role of Lord Knight, and hopefully an augur of good to come?!

And Tai: thank you.

Sad to say this isn't a surprise; I know many people were sort of expecting this, including Rufus himself.

I'm sure he won't rest long, so I'll address my congratulations to him in person.
