Thanks to Mr Flanners - Ive got a very fun odd race/class mix as a belated Xmas present special -
Just seeking some advice from the more experienced players In order to increase my chances of survival: do I go for more DAC or LIFE untill I can spend all my hard earns points on self heals (which is post 450pts). or try get forarm parry as a power master? What basic life do I have have as a Winter elf power master - same as human as winter elf warriors are better than the usual elven warrior? -------------------- Marcos

forearm parry as your 7th level specialist
Empower bow sticks as your 8th level bo sticks Buy as Warlock = Watching of yoru dragon as a specialist (+2 DAC for 40 points) As my elven powermaster I had: 1. Eat 16 lembas per day as Psi-drowe (plus make and carry 16 / day without breaking class restrictions) 2. Lesser self heals - either a 36 / 36 or wound staunch, may not have more lesser self heals than normal self heals Base life was as a human because Bruno said that were bad enough already as a class... Basically, if you have forearm parry and a bit of MAC and are careful you should survive for a good while (I am nearly 7K). I would recommend life over DAC initially as life helps in all circumstances and DAC only vs weapon blows but balance it out. Warrior Masters suffer a little initially in that they have too many options - more warrior or more wizard plus innate totals and buy as Elf. Best try to think of a concept and explore that - buy lots of mana and be a wizardly power master or buy lots of fight stuff and be a fighting powermaster I have a few half decent non-standards if you are really interested but they are from MCC and Bruno and no idea what Phil would now pass Cheers David |

re forearm parry - as a 7th - so persumably will have to be a yellow paper as i currently dont have that option?
Sound terribad - but kind of basing on Raiden (mortal combat) powers and personality of Ip Man - I'll get my coat. -------------------- Marcos

It's true, Powermasters no longer get forearm parry as a 7th-8th ability, but luckly you get buy as monk, so you buy it for 40 points as a class specialist, no need for yellow paper.

The issue with buying monk specialists arises from the order specialist abilities - which are ONLY for Brightpath/mantis/shadow path - not an alignment appropriate other classs with buy as monk ....
Which IIRC are now 1st class and tables anyway .... Dave |

There are certainly order specific abilities on the tables, but you were talking about order specific specialist skills, which no longer exist.
