Recently House D'Treal have expanded their demesne further, and taken a set of four isles previously held by a nemesis of the D'Treals, Shetka Rhal. The Isles are located between the D'Treal Dragon Isles, and the East coast of Ishma.
It is rumoured the renowned demonologist and pirate, Shetka, managed to escape. However, he lost his bases of operation, again. Bael Isle - This was an isle populated by around 300 folk who descended from those who were shipwrecked off its treacherous shores. Maybe its lush forma and plentiful natural resources was why they chose to stay even when opportunity to leave presented its self. Unfortunately the whole populous was destroyed when a bound ritual was released upon the Isle shortly after the D'Treals landed there. Luckily the happy house managed to negate the other bound rite to use the souls of the slain to summon forth an army of demons before it had run its course. Isle Giagantus - Here reside a race of giant folk. Without the means to sustain themselves they ended up serving Shetka in exchange for food. Rumour has it the D'Treals managed to make a new arrangement with the King of the Titan population so as to claim their loyalty. The wasted rocks - this is where all the entropic fallout of his demonology and other dark experiments is dumped. It was rumoured that Shetka had kidnapped a nephew of Felach bin Jouels, the renowned Benhai Alchemist who often hires mercenaries to fetch him ingredients. Shetka - originally a denizen of the dark City of Khaniabad, in Ishma where he became well known as a potent demonologist. One evil deed too many drew the attention of Bin Jouels who started hiring Confederacy mercenaries to thwart him. He was forced to flee and set up on the islands now taken buy the D'Treals. As a parting shot, to threaten Bin Jouels and make sure he did not interfere he kidnapped his nephew and has him held on this isle within a warding, until the D'Treals saved him and returned him to his grateful uncle. The Palace of Wonders - An urban piratical styled isle, and the Isle Shetka resided upon. Types from all lands (and planes) come here to trade goods and make deals. Pretty much everyone here who is not enslaved is dark of heart, and there are a lot of demons, imps, cambions and demon touched. Despite its grand name it was a dark shanty town, until Duke D'Treal and his allies burnt it to the ground, presumably with some kind of ritual attack. -------------------- Will Power - will@labyrinthe.co.uk
