So, i am planning to take the plunge and order a fake beard.

There are loads on amazon / ebay. I was wondering if people have any advice on the best kind to go for - preferably something i can wear for a day whilst hardly noticing it.

I grow mine, I have asked the team for some advice.

If push comes to shove, just dab on some stubble effect makeup with a sponge blink.gif

Would you believe my neighbor was knocking on my door at 2:30AM this morning? Luckily, I was still up playing bagpipes...

From my experience, if you’re talking about a full face beard and moustache, unless you’re going to pay silly money for a really top notch one (well over £100) then they’re itchy as hell!

However, it’s entirely worth it to spend a day with a proper lustrous beard.

However, I’ve seen Edd H do a good job with a stick on chin-only beard (although I believe that this was forcibly and painfully removed by a ghoul)

Any of the £15 or so Viking style beards work well.

I was hoping to find the option that was least itchy and stayed in place reasonably well whilst be smacked with rubber swords - though for 1/2 effect mana i am prepared to go through a bit of discomfort.

Whilst i remember drawing a beard on with a bic as a young player, i was hoping to get something that looked a bit better this time around.

I had success with this one last weekend - stuck well through 9 hours of fighting and shouting!
