Sorry am I out of date. Has the Circle stopped declaring all druids and all those that worship a god, such as The Lady Boarder, hedge? Are all hedge no longer killed?

Yes, you are out of date. Hedge are not to be killed on sight - members of the Circle are expected to use reasonable judgement and take whatever steps are necessary to protect the people and the Baronies. That might be killing evildoers, or it might even mean occasionally turning a blind eye to best resolve an intractible situation.


As for druids, I or any of the Circle would be pleased to speak with any who wish to protect the people of the South to see if we can find an accommodation.

Statements like yours, Jax, make a difficult situation much worse. I'd be grateful if you could refrain from them, and would be happy to explain why the South is how it is in person.

In case you missed the announcement clarifying the situation last September:

The Seven have discussed the Edicts and wish to remind all members of the Circle that those of power are free to join at any point in their life. Any Hedge who wish to work for the betterment of the people of the Baronies are welcome in our ranks and shall be given the time and support they may need to better control their power. The Circle becomes stronger by persuading those of power to join with them, not spreading fear amongst the people.

- No supernatural power shall be left to the whim of the Individual. All power is part of the Eternal circle of element - man - spirit. All those of power will accept their place in this Circle.

- No user of supernatural power shall use this power against a fellow user of the higher arts. Mage does not fight mage, Priest does not fight Mage and Priest does not fight priest. Never again shall the land be rent by the thoughtless and childish misuse of power.

Murder of any citizen of the Baronies by a member of the Circle will be investigated closely to understand whether it was justified and provide advice accordingly

Before we all go tramping around the Baronies with our hob-nailed boots on, I'll mention that I have never had an issue being a Knight and a member of the Circle. Wherever the Knights travel they respect the local populous, traditions and rules and always try to do what's right.

If bad people are doing bad things and they need to be killed for the greater good, that is the job of mercenaries. But if anyone thinks they can murder Hedge who are doing no wrong with abandon then they will suffer the same sort of fate as if they had slaughtered innocents in the Empire.

it is good to hear, that despite misgivings we can share news from across borders and learn from each other. You would be amused to know, that in the Lord's chambers, one of my first requests was information to prevent me appearing ignorant.

Now, with regards to the information regarding the company offering peoples passage for whatever reason, its should stop. To fight Amanatus Pep, borders and roads should cease to be the arteries of diseases. i might not be someone who canfight diseases in the manner of Priests and Druids and Alchemists, but my kin, the Silverfolk, might know something about how these things spread. our disease was beyond a cure.

So. Tartovia, nearly twice as wounded by Pep as any other Baronies Waldgrafine, if that is the right term. Then Schtoy, Kasnia, Bulaslaiva, Alkunhand and Habderberg are all suffering to the same degree.
I do not know the land, I do not know which districts lie close to the Empire or far from it, but breaking the chains that thread out from Tartovia, would be a very good idea.

Thalia,

Our wise and noble Lord Knight has asked me to look into the events of the afternoon and i have the below information to share after a quick few hours of travelling around and asking questions.

Our overall objective is to stop the spreading of pep within the Baronies.

Bronze company will be travelling to Schtoy. Communications about pep have been answered with: "would you or any of your friends like a reliable, cheap, and easy service providing holidays for all circle and hedge members to the Empire? In which case Talador's transportation company and Co has all you need! Come down to our office in Schtoy to discuss!"
The biggest threat you will face is that they know you are coming, i lied to their communications and told them you aren't a group for plans and would just be ready with weapons, safe in the knowledge that the complete heal prayer is behind you, use your heads and you should be ok.

Silver company will go to Tartovia, there is a group known as the "cult of the lost" who are known smugglers and are known to snatch people out of nowhere for unknown reasons. They have a long reach and could spread pep knowingly or otherwise. They operate from the docks and you will need to investigate them and use your judgement.

Gold company will go Kasnia to deal with a group of Hagrath that have been spreading pep. We have engaged them before.

I am currently having a look through my workshop for some transportation artefacts or a ritual to bring tomorrow, I feel confident but will give details in the morning.
