Mercenaries gathered in the Brandins under the nominal control of Schtoy to meet with the Fragerman Erinard Vlaada. Initially finding the Waystation they were attending occupied by a number of Hobgoblins that were believed to have been driven into the foothills of the Brandins by the rumoured Dwarven activity stirring in the mountains they found themselves in post breakfast and pre-hire conflict, and not a cottage in sight.

They were offered a number of tasks by the Fragerman as well as additional reward from one of the Circle’s Seven should they complete the full complement successfully.

The group contained a quartet of Baronial citizens including one of the Ritter Drachul. All four were close companions and said to be part of a Valdschwart, not heard of for near a decade but if they had been idle this past 10 years their weapons and armour where well cared for and ready for action.

The assorted mercenaries were believed to have tracked down and retrieved a number of lava rubies thought to once have been the prized ritual components of the Seval Magiarchs from a remote village and disused mine somewhere off the Rook pass through the Brandins.

Elsewhere the villagers of Hawkins Rest were relieved to find the strange fey faerie fire that had been haunting the confines of their small graveyard had passed following the short but effective visit of the heavily armed and armoured group. They were thankful to be able to return to honour their ancestors and the crypt of Hawkin, the man who founded the village and added so much to the rich tapestry of Baronial life in Schtoy during his years. Although there was a small amount of grumbling about how the carefully nurtured vines that curtained the crypt had been somewhat unskilfully pruned and the amount of rusted and broken weapons littering the place made it look more like an ancient battle ground than a garden of rest.

There was much excitement among the men of Schtoy in the Taverns over this past weekend when it was heard that a number of walking bar tabs had been spotted in the Waldgrafine. Meanwhile Circle members were seen to be reminding the populace of the dangers of uncontrolled magic and worship while seemingly hunting down those who had irresponsibly woven not one but two rites of Draconic power!

The Circle seemed confident that their actions had ensured no third rite would be woven and assured those that cared the fabric of Schtoy had been strengthened although muttering was heard from among their number at how if the Ritter Ghrayve could have been spared from their current campaign that they would have ensured no second rite was woven and it was a shame those engaged in the Ritter’s stead somehow failed to prevent the additional weaving.
