Labyrinthe Forum _ General In-Character Chat _ The Cult of Welcoming Brimstone

Posted by: dnsmantra Aug 29 2017, 09:25 AM

The Cult of Welcoming Brimstone and its members are hereby censured and considered ostracised within the lands of the Empire. This group are connected to a wider plot to bring about the destruction of the Empire's City Spirits and have been actively summoning demons and opening demonic portals (amongst other things) which are clear breaches of Inquisitional Law regarding summonation without permit (as well as clearly being a force which represent supernatural harm/threat to the Empire).

Magiarch Winterhaven has more detailed information on this group, as well as a number of other threats that concerned mercenaries should keep an eye out for over the coming months. I will ask her to make as much information as is it is safe to do so, public, such that we might better oppose them.

Lord Nexus,

I would like to make you aware of the immediate dissolution of The Cult of Welcoming Brimstone. We cant stand to be known as an enemy of Primus and as such have all left the organisation.

We hope to hear from you soon,

Arch Deacon Ephrael

Leaving the organisation does not dissolve you of your existing crimes. Neither will, for example, forming a new organisation under which to continue your works in a different guise or guises. From an Inquisitional standpoint all who were members of said cult at the time of my proclamation are to be considered ostracised as a collective (with or without a name, or whether you've decided to try and be 'clever' and circumvent Imperial law through technicalities or 'shell' cults or whatever other nonsense you come up with) working against the supernatural interests of the Empire.

If those who genuinely wish to change their ways would like to hand themselves in for judgement and monitoring I'm sure the Covenant would be more than happy to find them a comfortable cell to wait in.

Understood entirely. We needed to leave the day before you made said proclamation.

No, you needed to act within the laws of the Empire. It's a pretty simply concept really.
