Fellow Knights,

This Starsday we travel the Cyrell, a world that has undergone a cataclysm event caused by an ancient noble banished from the empire an age ago. I sadly haven’t got my notes to hand with the name of the house! This was the same noble house that arrived in a grey castle outside Deci and caused local problem. I believe Steph may be able to remember the name of the house.

In the realm of cyrell it caused a rift event style to happen and the world to broken in 8 different cities, the only way of travelling to each city was through their version on the nacht. I will get to this more later. Whilst the cities themselves and the people inside were well warded from the destruction, the people outside were less fortunate. They became ‘infected’ with a sort of purple lighting and become known as the ‘lost ones’. We discovered that it was spreading between the rural population and the cities had sealed their borders. We have discovered a way to cure this infection and are slowly but surely starting to reverse the effects. The people within their way of travelling easily between the cities all sadly died at the moment the destruction happened. These now are lost within there nacht passages and we believe unable to help, we need to investigate this more one day. We believe the creatures we fight within the their nacht are echos/memories of the people who died, upon death they make you less willed and resistant to domination spells.

On our first arrival to the realm we arrived in the capital, this was defending by a line that would summon a vampire bound with magic inside the first person who crossed, we solved this by summoning a sprite and sending it across. After this we very quickly realised we were out of our depth, we encountered 3 creatures, former Lord’s of their citites. One was an extremely powerful grey and ebony mage who could only killed via spells. One was a creature of pure spirit, I am unsure how potent or if was casting anything! The last was a very powerful warrior, this is the one we believe or know about that has a specific way of dealing with, the sword of Michael, I do not believe there is a link to Saint Michael at this time, but I’m sure someone can find out! We believe we have located where this sword is, it was last seen within one of the cities, this is what we intended to do when we first arrive to Cyrell. Lord Rufus has a dagger to open the nacht to arrive there.

I cannot remember the names of all of the other cities but they have very similar naming and themes to those on primus. We have spoken to the majority of them and we need to complete test’s to be allowed within the throne room to fix they’re world.

The plan for the day is to locate the sword, talk to one of the cities, then complete two of the cities task.
- Death's hold a city of necromancers and undead we believe.

This isn’t the most in depth briefing but I’m sure Lord Rufus and the others who have travelled can add more…

Can people please meet at the Sword tavern with in the rest this starsday at normal time.

Thank you for this, Snow.

Are we intending on talking to the necromancers and generally cooperating with them?

I shall consult with my Lady as to whether it is, in fact, prudent for me to attend.

Obviously it is.

We obviously won't be talking to or co-operating with necromancers.

See you there my friend.

While it is obviously a matter for Rufus to decide on the day, I would be somewhat concerned if the Knights simply decided to kill a bunch of people "because they were necromancers", or "because they were undead", assuming they're civil and not a threat to the land or its people. The knights are very varied, and indeed there are those within the knights who are themselves necromancers or undead. We aren't a militant goodly faith. Sure, if they're causing trouble then they should be fought - the same would hold true for any such being, and while undead are more often a problem than not, just because someone is a necromancer doesn't inherently make them an enemy of the knights or the land.

It is my belief that as Knights we should be judging people on their actions, not on the powers they wield or whether they are in-fact dead, or not.

It is currently my intentions that we will make allies of the Necromancers. I am hoping to write up some more information before the day, however time is currently something I am lacking. I should be able to get something written on Friday, if not before.

Cyrell, the plane where we will be going, is currently only surviving because of the power that resides within all of the cities there. To weaken a city will weaken the defenses of the entire plane and will cause people to die / become corrupted. I am sure that you all understand that this is the more important thing, than your issues with necromancers. However I judge people by their actions not their words, most of the time.

Rufus.

Rufus,

I entirely understand your position - I was not intending to 'cause trouble'. Simply to ascertain the situation, so that I wasn't hurting rather than helping.

Given the situation, I think I shall stay away, unless you feel I am positively needed.

Iggy,

Talking to the necromancers will only be a small part of the day... we can always part ways if needed and collect you later if that works for you?

Greetings Knight's of the Land,

I am hoping to travel with you all come Starsday and from Snow's comments would provisionally like to place myself and potentially the other members of my Faith (though I in know way can speak for them) into the same category as Ignatius. I am similarly minded to his Grace my High Priest but as a guest on your venture I wouldn't wish to cause any problems. If it is possible to not be part of the necromancer negotiations then I will see you all in a few short days - I'm sure that you could send the 'anti-undead' members of the group to deal with something else so as to ensure no internal friction and no damage to this realm you are working to protect.

Praise be to Michael

Good day, Thalia.

Snow - your suggestion, if feasible, seems very sensible. I do genuinely wish to aid my fellow Knights, so if there is a way for me to do something constructive (or, potentially, eat some cake) whilst you are dealing with people I would find it difficult to stay my hand against, that would seem to suit everyone.

How do we cure the people that are outside the cities? Are there safe places for them to go once they are cured?
